Hyde Park Hotel

Our room was clean and recently refurbished to a nice standard. It was great having a little fridge, kettle & toaster in the room.

The bathroom was tiny.... and i mean tiny! - with the door closed you could only just squeeze round the sink.

The location is good, near Hyde park and plenty of restaurants (the Greek on Moscow was really nice). Not too far from shopping with two tube lines to choose from. The room was big enough, nice, fresh and clean and the staff friendly.

Unfotunately the a/c was not working, staff said it would be fixed for next day. However, the a/c was not fixed during our 4 night stay. Still, the staff was very friendly and we were provided with a table fan, just typical London got 30+ degrees warm those days.. It could get a little noisy outside the window (if your facing the street) as party goers walk home to their hostels or hotels in the late night/early morning - but nothing you wouldn't expect from sleeping in a city. Bed was very, very firm but I have no real complaints about the hotel, it's even a bit nicer than I expected and not too expensive.

Good location and modern

The hotel was in a good location for our time there with easy access to the city centre and Hyde Park

The room was small but comfortable (room 207) possibly a bit to small we found it dificult opening the wardrobe doors as the desk was in the way. It would have been better with an open access wardrobe with sheves.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, tidy and excellent for sightseeing around. It's perfect for self-cattering. The hotel is near the park, near to underground stations, there are many stores around. The people are nice and friendly.

Maybe they could clean the floor of the room as for the eight nights we stayed there it hadn't been cleaned not a sindle time. But as cleaness everything else was perfect.

The hotel is close to Bayswater underground station and Padington railway station. Is a clean hotel.

The hotel staff was very noisy early in the morning.

Hyde Park Hotel is situated at a very central location and is a good value for money.

The rooms are rather small, not sure if the kitchenette of this size is convenient

the bathroom was very very small! the room it self was not cosy, bathroom light wasnt working and wasnt fixed on time!

Good location, good concept, well priced for location, elevator in this type of building was an asset . Staff helpful when asked but do not seem well informed from a tourist point of view. Was great to have the cooking facility, with daily hotel service. The internet was user friendly & not too expensive if taken by the week, we stayed 6 days. We were quite comfortable.

Needs a little more attention to detail, rooms & bathroom very small, more comfort could be achieved with a little thought,ie. shower caddy for shampoo, extra hooks in bathroom, & a point located near a mirror for hairdryer. Maintenance not a priority as air conditioner & coffee machine was not functional for the whole time we were there.

Very uncomfortable bed

Great location - close to Paddington train station and the Bayswater tube station. A short walk to Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, and Notting Hill. Good value compared to other Central London hotels we looked at. Comfortable room. Enjoyed having the fridge/kettle/toaster in the room. Staff was helpful when asked.

Ran out of hot water on the first day because we weren't told about the hot water heater, but problem resolved the second day. Bathroom was small. The elevator was not working, but we only had one flight of stairs to walk and the staff carried our luggage down when we arrived.

The hotel is located near the metro station. The rooms are cleaned very well.

The staff at the reception was very uninterested and unfriendly. We had a room without a window, never saw that before! The alarm went off twice in the middle of the night during our 4 day stay. People entered our room when we were in without knocking on the door and after we closed it! The rooms and especially bathrooms are too small.
