Everything eapecially location and room
Room abit small but thats london..its normal
very friendly staff
Leslie was super friendly and professional. Guided us to the nearest stations, restaurants and arranged a taxi for us when required. Will definitely book here again
the area is beautiful, one of the best in West London. As I was re-booked to a different location a further 10 min away from Paddington I was offered complementary breakfast.
Inside everything is extremely narrow and the impression you get from the outside is not matched inside at all. But this is not an uncommon observation in London. The breakfast is very modest; I would not pay 15 GBP for this.
The room is clean, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and heated.
The noise shielding level needs improvement. both from the outside where glass is single layer and from the corridor where the door allows hearing clearly every person passing in the corridor.
We had booked this hotel as it was close to where we were visiting friends, when we arrived it was closed for refurbishing and we were moved to its sister hotel in Nottinghill. At least four others guest were moved. Should not have been able to book it. Very dissatisfied.
No good isolation between the rooms. I could hear my neighbours speaking.
room so small - a chair did not fit in. the only place one can sit is the bed. window does not close properly. weather and noise like - it feels like spleeing on the street...
StAff very friendly room nice.
Breakfast cold and scrambled eggs were from concentrate
Room size , bathroom size & window was half open as the lock was broke. Same problem with window in every room. Not good enough in middle of winter
Location, hot shower, choice at breakfast
Bed (matrass) was old, breakfast room crowded and no atmosphere.
Size of room and noise from air conditioning units outside of the window.
The location is good, within close distance of Paddington, and there's a small selection of snacks for free in the Club rooms.
The decor is very dated and upholstery, curtains, etc, are very clearly damaged and in need of repair. Hotel advertises a 24 hour room service, which opens at 6pm, and a £8.95 pizza which cost £11.95. Staff at the reception never asks how the stay is, and generally doesn't seem to care about the guests, but are happy to take their money.
The staff could not do enough for you, very kind and extremely efficient
Helpful and friendly staff, lovely to have a complimentary bottle of water and biscuits on the tray and a paper to collect every morning.Friendly staff in the breakfast room particularly the helpful girl. Bed was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my time in London for the weekend seeing a Show, visiting Hyde Park which is fairly close and Convent Garden by taxi.
I had expected a bit bigger room for a double deluxe price and the the bathroom, particularly the shower, was very small. There was a large stain on the chair and several marks on the table and furniture looked rather tired but perhaps I am being a bit picky. TV colour needs a bit of adjusting.
We booked this hotel because we were visiting the winter wonderland in hyde park with our adult disabled son. It was booked due it's proximity to hyde park. The staff were extremely helpful. The access to the hotel was up three steps and the staff were very helpful in helping up to lift him up and down the steps whenever we went in and out the hotel. Although the rooms were quite small this was no more than one would expect in this type of older building and were quite adequate. Given the location this hotel was good value for money and I cannot praise the staff too highly for their willingness to go the extra mile to be helpful.
location and helpful staff
room too small,we are two larger people bathroom too small found it quite difficult but because we were out all day and only there mornings and evenings
Clean place, loved breakfast
My room was too small
Room is not confortable. Will not check in this hotel.
Excellent facilities and friendly helpful front of house staff.
inexperienced bar staff, didnt know what half the drinks were or where they were stored. Said it was her first night. Shouldnt have been left unsupervised.
Convenient, clean and well organised. Comfortable room with good facilities. Breakfast well organised and staff were very welcoming.
Sofa bed for third guest in triple room not so comfortable but ok just for one night.
Large room. Comfortable. Very good value.
Yes I would and would recommend to all who want to in the city close to Paddington Station. Staff attitude scores 100% in my assessment.
Still looking for something to pick on.
Location handy fo Paddington underground & central line.
aianitial bedroom offered was miniscule, changed to second bedroom which was again small. Shower cubicle miniscule, had to remove ironing board from indide wardrobe to accomodate clothing.
Room was lovely but was very small, ok for a one night stay but not any longer.
