You should be sure whether you want the A/C or not. Because the hotel does not have an A/C. Besides, for the rooms you should ask whether your room would be in the basement floor or not. Becasue it could be difficult to open your window.Besides the hotel should keep the hair dryer to the bathroom not in a drawer next to TV |

Very handy to train station, lovely breakfast I got a call the night before to say we had been moved to Lancaster hotel - was assured this was the saem star rating - is not - 3 start with a youth wing! Several phone calls later they agreed we could start at Shaftersbury - single room was v small but adequate however my friends twin room the air con did not work and they were melted. Happy to discuss 02890 791250 |

The hotel is only one block from Paddington Station. It is located in a converted building of a certain age. As such, floors in passageways are uneven. This is not unusual for buildings of this age. The plumbing in our room (sink drains and such) needed some maintenance. Not serious, but they could pay better attention to these things. |

really nice comfortable rooms, great matresses, extremely clean, grat location. Perfect for a city break. Good value for money. Next time in London, I could eaily stay there again. |

Good price. Nice view onto Victorian terraced housing with trees. Yes, the street was very noisy and the windows were not double-glazed. That was my main concern. Also, there was what seemed to be a 'repair in progress' to the radiator in my room which didn't look too good. |

Very clean, good air conditioning, good location and a great shower! It was a tiny room, but I only stayed the one night and the positives more than made up for this. |

Quiet and near to mainline Station therefore ideal for my purposes.Due to my itinerary I did not get to sample many of the Hotel's facilities,perhaps another time My room was a twin but rather on the small side for two,but good value all the same. |

The staff are friendly and helpful. Room is very clean. Bathroom is in good condition. Room is quite tiny. Not recommend for tall people. |

Most of all I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. I also liked the convenience of the location near transportation. It was a pleasant experience because the staff were accommodating and very professional. I would have no problem staying this hotel again if I need to. One of the room we booked was too small and no room for the luggages. |

The location of the hotel was perfect arriving from Heathrow and taking the express into Paddington station the triple room was inappropriately named - a booking for three adults and a triple room resulted in a room with twin beds and a pull out sofa! Very poor and not as expected. |

The hotel has an excellent location, quiet but within easly walking distance to Paddington station, Hyde Park and Bayswater shopping and restaurant precinct. Our room could have had better block out curtains as I found it too light, too early in the mornings! Also, the breafast price was too expensive if you did not wish to eat a full english breakfast. |

It's ok to stay for one night, facilities are good, but room size will not let you enjoy a longer holiday, unpack, relax, etc. Good for shopping and very good for Paddington connection - I just left luggage at the station and then picked it up when went to Heathrow. Staff were very happy to offer assistance. Free internet terminals for use were a surprise. Very close to Paddington station Fridge was not cold although you could leave your stuff with the reception to put in thieir fridge. Blreakfast too expensive. cheap and good eng breakfast just down the road. |
