Good location with easy access to underground. Felt safe and secure. Small front garden nice for a city location. Room seemed small and a little dirty but would still probably stay again.

I liked the look of the hotel in the main reception area and bar. The staff were generally very nice. The room was dirty and needed up dating and decorating. The restuarant was too small for breakfast guests and we had to wait for quite a while before we could be seated. The undeground train ran right under the hotel and kept us awake most of the night, also an alarm went off in the middle of one night and woke us up!

Did not like the staff, their English was not very good. Lack of communication between staff members. Room was small, dirty and the bathroom was filthy with grime inbetween tiles and around bath and sink. Not enough room to sit on the toilet, unless you are a small child. No air conditioning. And they told us that we only booked continental breakfast, when it clearly said that a full breakfast was included in the price we paid, we then had to pay extra and the food was atrocious. We will not be booking this hotel again.

The location was excellent, right beside Hyde Park and only an 15-20 minute walk into Oxford Street. The hotel was very basic, rooms were tiny.Very old fixtures and fittings. The bathroom was very small, could hardly turn around in it. Could do with Sound-Proofing as the floor boards are very creaky, everything can be heard from corridor and outside as it has no double glazing.

The location is good being a few minutes walk from Baywater (literally cross the road and go down street in front of station and turn left) or Queensway tube stations. For the price the hotel was good, the room was functional and it had free wifi. As stated before being near Baywater Tube station meant you did hear the trains rubbling through (even on the higher floors), the single room is small, the TV only had basic TV channels and news channels BBC News and CNN. Carpets outside of lifts on floors have seen better days and do need replacing. Could do with cleaning up outside the back of the hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel. I do not liked the hotel. Asked for a 1st floor room, but got a basement room. The hotel and its facilities are old, like a 2star hotel type due to other European hotels. You could hear every tube approaching to the station, the noise from the street (could not close the window!) and the noise from every other room.

Location was perfect. Staff was nice. Room was clean Nasty, dirty hole in the carpet right where you put your feet down to get out of bed. We didn't dare step on it so we put a towel over it. Everything was clean. Cleaning staff clearly did their job. The hotel was in the middle of renovating so the lift was inoperable but would have liked to have been informed of that fact when we booked. No excuse for hole in carpet. Would only recommend this hotel to people that are looking for low rate.

It was located within two minutes walking from two separate Tube lines making it extremely convenient to get around London after taking a shuttle to the hotel. I saw there were renovations which were not advertised on any site. Since I was staying one street over and had booked sight-unseen, I walked into the lobby and asked it the renovations would affect my room. The two ladies at the reception desk adamantly said, "No. It only affects the rooms on one side of the hotel." They lied. The lift did not work so one of the hotel staff graciously carried my bag and my daughter's bag up 40 steps to our room. The television did not work. Heating wasn't on in the room. The hotel had a space heater to heat the room. No offer was made to discount my room since it was falsely advertised and unless all of these issues were rectified, I would not stay there again.

We were very dispointed by this hotel. We chose it, despite the high cost, becaus ewe expected luxury rooms and nice breakfast, as described on the site, and according to pictures. There are works in the hotel, with scafolding blocks all around it: no vieuw! Rooms are old, bathrooms are very old and there are damp stains in the corners. Reservation for the family was altered and 1 child had to sleep alone. No price:qaulity at all. We agreed to spend more to be in a luxury hotel, and ended up in a bearily acceptable hotel.

On arrival I was informed that there was no record of my booking despite the fact that I had a print out of my booking made in August. After some deliberation and my request to speak to the manager I was given a double room but I needed a twin room for myself and my sister and so requested a room more suitable for our needs.More deliberation and eventually we were given two double rooms with an instruction that our cases had to be packed for removal to our previous booking. On return to the hotel we both found that we had not been moved and we were still in our previous rooms but our key cards did not work. As my sister was on the third floor and I was on the second floor we found the climb up and down very frustrating as both of us are in our 70'S.All round we did not have a very good experience.Anyone sleeping to the front of the hotel should take earplugs as the noise is horrendous. No compensation I will not be back

It was extremely convenient to the London metro and was near to Hyde Park. There were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. The breakfast was pretty good in comparison with other places in London. The reception area was pleasant and the receptionist was helpful. The first impression of the room was not good - three tiny single beds (the room reservation was for one person) crammed in a dimly lit room. As the eyes adjusted, the disappointment continued - the furniture was badly deteriorated. The rug and the chair were both heavily stained. The tv was not functional. The "free wi-fi" that was offered was on an unsecured open-access account. The bedding seemed to be clean enough, though, and the tiny bathroom had working hot and cold running water. The hotel was being renovated, with renovation noise starting at 7 am each day. Two stars is a generous rating. This hotel is overpriced.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, near everything, 1 min from bayswater station and just 2 from the central line that is queensway station...near by shops and restaurants. The worst was 1- old carpet with bad smell 2- the lift didn't work during part of my stay , had to carry lugguage by myself through narrow stairs 3- no left luggage 4-no notice about works during our stay
