In a peaceful, rural setting just off the A45, the Quality Hotel Coventry offers free parking, free Wi-Fi access, a relaxing sauna/steam room, and is just a 15-minute drive from Birmingham...
Score from 525 reviews Very good
The smell in the hotel was rancid it got even worse in the bathroom, the whole place was just filthy. Worst experience I have been through.
Dirty Moldy Lack of towels Dirty Bedding Dirty stained carpets Broken Lights Broken Tiles From the front door to the bedroom it was discusting
Just two minutes to the railway station made this an ideal location. Room clean and comfortable as was dining room.
Badly in need of a coat of paint
Run down hotel shower did not work properly bath disscusting had to ask 6 times for cover do not stop here
A buget hotel that needs some touching up.
didn't really like it at all not suitable for young children
comfort not good bathroom needed a new bath breakfast was disgusting as run out of butter so had to have toast dry they used value Tesco bread smart price orange juice selection of cereal not good my little had no breakfast as didn't like we were there for 2 nights didn't even top up our coffee, milk sugar in room we had to keep going downstairs to ask
Close to station. Good driveway with adequate turning circle for motor vehicles
Very noisy. Plumbing an issue. Toilet flushed intermittently. Electrical power points were loose and appeared unsafe. No security. We returned from a day out and found our room unlocked.
The staff were very polite, and were willing to bring my breakfast time forward. So service was good. The coffee that I ordered was a lovely cup of ground tasting coffee, thank you.
The noise coming from other rooms, the shouting, the banging of doors. The room was dusty, and so was the hallway. A shame really as I expect the hotel was once a very popular place to stay.
Way too hot, windows wouldn't open more than an inch. Light bulbs gone. Not very clean / tidy. Bed bugs...
Nothing was good about this hotel except the dog friendly policy
The bath had a layer of brown dirt in it, the carpets were stained all over, the sink was so dirty I didn't want to drink the water, refused to wash my hair or shower for the state of the bathroom, the breakfast wasn't worth 50p let alone 4.50 each, the cutlery was dirty, the pre made tea with cold, the butter was off, could not believe my eyes, glad I was there for only on night. Do not stay here!!!!
The central position near Coventry centre. Reception was fine and a member of staff kindly carried my bag up to my room. The bed was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast needed someone to organise the preparation and service. The only member of staff was completely out of his depth. Tea was in a flask and was cold. There was no coffee. We didn't have enough spoons, etc, etc. The shower in my room appeared not to work. I wont be staying there again.
This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in, it's discussing, dirty smelly and damp everywhere. You could not pay me to stay there again.
the place was very tired the bathroom was dirty bath should be replaced the the hole room and bathroom should redone we had no hot water to have a shower the place was stinking of smock when asked about hot water we were told he would have to get a plumber what a disgrace it was that bad we would not stay another night we booked in for three nights but stayed two the most sad think about this was that we came down to Coventry from Scotland to attend my brothers funereal your hotel was discusting
Proximity to Coventry Low cost Friendly service Very helpful staff [when found!!] Good location alongside the Park
Poor quality breakfast Having to look for staff - posts largely unmanned
Wifi in lounge, proximity to train station
Had to move rooms twice, door wouldn't shut then no hot water in the shower - second room was really unclean. Clean sheets and towels and new bathroom accessories do not make up for grubby bath, dusty corners, cheap bed bases and mattresses. Frankly I've had nicer accommodation for the price in third world countries. If it's cheap, we can live with mismatched paint and out of date wallpaper but it still has to be clean. No excuse for mould and carpets that haven't been properly vacuumed.
The location of this hotel is excellent just few minutes walk from the train station and the city center
Noise from the next door's television.
Cost, location friendly staff. Room had coffee making facilities, always like a cuppa first thing in the morning. Bar open 24 hours if you want that
Room probably needs a lick of paint. But didn't spend too much time in it
- Close to the railway station - Cheapest option around the city - Clean towels and sheets
- Dated and filthy rooms and facilities - Different quality across the rooms
Location is ideal and the Hotel was well kept.
Continental Brekfast was not worth £4.50, should be complementary..
The hotel was dirty, unkempt, old and smelly. The staff need to work on their customer service skills and providing a much better service. Breakfast was a joke and I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me.
It is cheap and close to rail station.
Although we got two card keys from the hotel, both card keys broke every day, and we have to ask reception to change the card keys everyday. There is a time lag for hot water to come from the shower.
I must admit the sheets and the towels were very clean. it were only to get our heads down while we got to our destination.
The room was dirty, their was a microwave in their and i don't think it had ever been cleaned. The bathroom was disgusting the tile grouting was pink (that means its bacteria and its been their longer than 10 days). i suppose you can say you get what you pay for.
Bar don't use proper measures for pouring wine.
Very dirty, grubby, tatty, smell of drug taking from rooms and beer smelling in corridors! I dropped something behind bed and was afraid to look, found used sachet of lube, towels felt damp. Then got worried about card being potentially cloned having read other reviews!
