It done the job a budjet stay overnight, would not have paid anymore than £20 per night, if I had of I would be complaining. So value for money at £20, no more. Done for an overnight stay. For £20 per night as a stop off point for us it was o.k. If the price was any higher would have complained and been very disappointed. £20 per night done the job for a bed. Reception area was pleasant. I would only recommend this hotel if someone just wanted a budjet hotel for an overnight stay, otherwise No. |

The hotel allowed me to leave my bag atthe hotel for safe keeping even though I had already checked out. The window would not shut properly and it did have an air of being in need of a face lift. |

Although the catering facilities were really none existent the staff were very helpful and ordered us a take away, my clock in the bedroom had not been changed when the clocks had gone back in October and I was very annoyed to have got up, showered and called for a friend only to be told it was 7.45 not 8.45 as I thought (simple things!!) |

The location was good and ease of access and availability of parking. The room rate was good. The room and bathroom cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was mildew on the shower curtain. Fallen off bathroom tiles, peeling wallpaper. |

I have stayed at this hotel a few times becase if it's location. Each time I have stayed in a different room and I have discovered the same things. The carpets are absolutely filthy and terribly stained. The bathroom is equally as bad, I wouldn't put the shower curtain in the bath while I showered, and nearly all the enamel has worn off the bath. The whole place needs refurbishing from top to bottom. |

there was nothing I liked about the hotel. Rooms were absolutly filthy and have not been maintained for over 19years. The wall has a thick visible coating of dust. There is an exposed fuse box next to the bed on the floor. The toilet was leaking water. The floor was crawling with all kinds of insects. It was filthy. The windows and sills had a thick coating of black grime. This allegedly 3star hotel doesn't even have mixer taps in the bathroom. The bed mattress was so worn the springs can be felt piercing your back. And the walls are so thin I can hear every sound coming from nearby rooms. The beds were not changed once during my 4night stay. All they did was put the covers and pillow back in place. |

It was close to the Universoty which suited me perfectly. It was very easy to find. It s quite old-fashioned, but more than suited my needs. It was very reasonably priced. |

The hotel was conveniently placed for my destination and represented value for money. You get what you pay for. I asked for an accessible room and was offered the 2nd floor with no lift. When I got to the room there was bags still in it. I changed rooms to one with no kettle. The staff need customer service training which may help any further decline to this run down hotel. |
