netheid, beetje vervallen, miste kussens op bed maar kreeg ze netjes bij navraag.

Dit hotel is geen 3* waard. Aan hygiene werd heel weing aandacht besteed. Ik zal mijn kennisen dit hotel nooit aan bevelen. Bed als een surf plank. Kamer was gewoon koud. Ontbijt was karrig niet dat ik veel eet maar weinig keus. Ben ontzettend blij dat ik geen ontbijt erbij hebt geboekt. Vlekken op de lakens moest die meneer aan de balie twee keer bellen voor verschoning. Waardeloze staf.

Prima hotel voor een overnachting op doorreis, niets meer niets minder.

Location and price. The hotel was fine, despite awful reviews on Tripadvisor. £45 for a family room so its hardly expensive. Sheets/ bathrooom/ carpets clean and tidy.

'Tired' public areas but nothing awful.

The bed was comfortable & the tv was modern with all freeview channels. I was at the back so it was quiet which was also a bonus.

The room (number 40) was damp & had an overwhelming smell. The bath had no plug, the toilet cistern was held together with dirty tape, the shower curtain was disgusting & neither bedside lamps worked even though I requested they fixed them! The cleaners had their children with them also! This is the worst hotel out of 4 I've booked through bookings.com.

I booked 2 ground floor rooms (2 disabled people) and a young person with a toddler so I asked for adjoining rooms and a travel cot. Upon arrival rooms were on 1st floor with no travel cot, bathroom was flooded, carpets were disguisting, the rooms were filthy. After complaining they offered to move us. These rooms were only slightly better if you can cope with human excrement along the front bath panel, filthy dirty head boards above the bed, foundation on the pillows, apple core on the floor, yes I have pictures to prove all of this. Only one room had a tv in it and when my daughter asked for a key for the adjoining rooms she was told they would be doing her a favour by giving her a key as we hadn't requested it, though we hadn't got what we had requested and I should have thought it was fairly obvious that if you requested adjoining rooms that you would need a key, they did eventually get a travel cot from somewhere. We also paid for continental breakfast at the cost of £5.00 at the time of booking, small glass of fruit juice, small cup of tea, bowl of cereal and one and a half slices of toast each, what a bargain!!!!

They could not find our booking done through ebooking n were not a professional staff. The hotel was extremely dirty n in a poor condition. Broken furnitures and dust, dead insects, strong smell of smoke. Did not sleep comfortably due to mattress causing backache.

Price- my -advice. Stay elsewhere for 2 )pounds more

Location to trains

everything else. Damp, cold, damaged toilet seat, no shower curtain, busted shower hose, TV that had to be tuned every time tuned on, Door access card failed, Fire Alarm breakglass broken for two days and was still broken when we left, even after telling them many times. No cider even though they had pump. Breakfast dispute, Horrible sausages, Tea with teabag in small cup, etc, etc

The location was convenient

The hotel was extremely dirty, walls smeared and damaged, bathroom dirty and unhygenic, room extremely cold, no top sheet on bed, just a blanket and top, very thin coverlet. Phone did not work and the smell of the room and the corridor was unbearable - strong smell of dirt and stale cigarettes. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

It was convenient for the train station

I wasn't put into the room I had booked - an executive room and I was in a smoking room at the far end of the hotel. The bath was not cleaned - and had hairs within, there was no plug in my sink the television didn't work barring 2 odd channels the kettle didn't work either

It was in a great location for my purposes. It was handy having a large free car park.

I pre-paid for breakfast only to be told after check in that it is served from 07:30 - 09:30 (a bit late for me really as I had an appointment at 08:15am!). The next morning it didn't open at all, and was closed the following day as well! I had to go elsewhere for breakfast and fortunately got a refund on the pre-payment! A bit disappointing.

Cheap, good location, Indian restaurant was good.

Hotel smelled, clearly people were smoking indoors. Walls were V. Thin so it was very noisy! Room was dirty, cups were dirty and were not washed at all during the week. Room was not hovered during stay, bedding consisted of a counter pain and old wool blanket. The bed felt dirty. Tv didn't work, phone didn't work. Wifi didn't work in rooms only in reception. Asked for ironing board and they said it would be brought up it never appeared, had to ask next day.

All u can say it's cheep apart from breakfast 10 pounds for 2 slices of toast and uht milk that was off??? Is that even possible

Nearly everything, and don't bother to compain, the staff act like they don't speek English and we could never contact the manager

paid in advance for room and cooked breakfast, however when we went for breakfast we were told our booking was for continental breakfast only. I had my receipt in our case so not immediately accessible but does clearly state cooked breakfast. So not happy about that.

Hotel was in poor conditionand badly needed redecorating. Only one bath and hand towel supplied meaning one person had to make do with damp towels.also because there is a Indian restuarant and takeaway attached to hotel there is very Ltd parking in front of hotel and there is no disabled parking and no resident parking. breakfast was very poor. We paid for full cooked B/fast but all we got was glass of orange juice, cup of coffee and one slice of toast and jam.We had to park at back of hotel at night and this was very badly lit and very cluttered.

Very shabby and dirty. Not enough blankets or pillows. The shower did not work and the window frame was broken and the window had to be left open all night and we were cold. We know it was a cheap deal but the staffs standards did not reach 3 star. their attitude was very poor and did not try to help in any way. We were in room 76 which was supposed to be a superior room. We left very early the next morning because we did not want to be in the hotel any longer

The location was ideal with adequate parking

The room was dirty. A no smoking room that smelt like smoke. Another guest was that appalled by the hotel that despite paying for his room he slept in the car. I asked for a wake up call which they agreed and didn't get it. The staff are very slow and don't seem to have a clue what they are doing.

Hotel needs renovating, as it is in a poor state. The bed and linen were clean, otherwise it was quite grubby.

Reasonably well fitted out bedroom in the standard hotel style with en-suite bathroom. Clean sheets.

Cold welcome. Room was very tatty, walls faded and covered in dirt marks. Bathroom tiles grouting had yellowed. No plug in sink. General impression of not very well kept.
