We liked all staff for friendliness and the hotels cleanliness was first rate.
Overall a good and happy stay with ibis
When i orderd a drink at the bar they never had wot i wanted. Had ran out
Good beds, tea and coffee in room, slow free internet, and good shower.
Road noise from A406 and fifteen minute walk to the underground. £3 parking charge.
Nice Hotel good value for money, very comfortable stay.
The staff were very rude and impolite, need to have further training on customer service! I had to make a complaint to the Deputy Manager during my stay, I received a call from her after a few days. I will not stay at this hotel again.
room clean and comfortable, staff friendly.
restaurant service and food quality poor; lighting dreadful. No information about alternatives given by staff. Hotel difficult to find.
Extreemly good value Comfortable bed Clear Bar
Location was 15 min walk from Barking tube Traffic noise in rooms at front
Αway from the center but we wanted somewhere nice to stay and what little money. 10-15 minutes from the Metro. nice bed nice tv
would be good if there were bathroom slippers.perhaps it would be better if there is heating rather than air conditioning..the staff were nice when they see clients telling them good morning because of their paying customers.
I liked the atmosphere, the room, bed, shower room, staff attendance and the location.
We were presently surprised how nice this hotel was - room was comfortable with desk, chair, air-con, and free wi-fi. We didn't eat at the hotel, but the menu looked more than adequate with the option to eat in your room. Staff were very helpful. Parking was posted as being £3 per day (less than half the price at a Travelodge) but we got it free anyway. Would recommend this hotel as excellent value for money.
I was so pleased after already visiting the same hotel in June...that the staff remembered me...and were all so helpful. This hotel is such a short distance from a 24 hour supermarket...so handy to buy a sandwich or salad...to take back to the hotel.
I thought the prices extremely high for a meal or snack and also drinks in the hotel, and not a very vast selection of food.
There wasn't a lock on the toilet door
The environs is cool and calm
Comfortable, clean , nice little outdoor area, maintained very well, lighting and candles a lovely touch in dining area .
I'm afraid the toilet flush handle fell of when used but our room was changed without a problem , thank you.
Hotel was clean, room was comfortable.
Staff were very abrupt in their manner, unfriendly. Definately need customer service training.
the hotel was lovely as were the staff as they were so helpful and pleasant. the bedroom was spotless and we had a great nights sleep. excellent value for money !1
there was nothing i didn't like about this hotel
Location to tube was good.
The room smelt mouldy every time we returned to it. Staff were a bit curt.
Friendly staff, clean room and free Wi fi also cheap parking.
With my partner being vegan it was very hard to understand the menu.
It's a very good choice for its money, relatively close to Barking train station which is convinient for London center. Don't expect something extraordinary, however for its cost a clean and comfort sleep is warrantied. Also excellent for few days business trips.
Adequate for my needs, somewhere to stay during a trade show at Excel. Less than 10 mins drive from the Excel Centre. Significantly cheaper than staying in the hotels directly in the vicinity of Excel.
Pillows were a bit hard. Found the rooms were a little bit too warm for me, and no obvious was to cool them down, as the controls for the air seemed to be on and off only for heat, nothing to cool.
free wifi helpful staff good location for underground
Paid parking £3 extra per night Breakfast £8.95 extra No bath
The comfort, cleanliness and staff
Distance to station
The people of the hotel are nice and the hotel is good for 1 night. It is a small room and the bathroom is small too but its good and clean.
it isnt central to the barking station, you have to walk maybe 15/20 min. it isnt safe when you are in the evening. The best way is to get if youre not from the uk to get a cab to the hotel. There isnt a lot of facilitity outside the hotel. Its more on the highway and good for 1 night. Or if you re with a car. breakfast was poor. And they charge you 5 pounds for that.
