Dining room set up. I like the long table which invites others to join.
No easy stair access I don't like lifts particularly.
Staff very friendly and efficient. Good quality food and drinks - very reasonably priced considering it being an airport hotel.
Ideally situated for LG Arena Gig, and short train trip into city centre/ bullring
Cleanliness & friendliness Ease of access everywhere, Well prepared food if some what simple dishes
Difficult to get into wi-fi system A great deal of noise within the restaurant area, could be improved with carpet & curtains to absorb & soften the ambient noise
Excellent friendly hotel.
Too warm and not airconditioned
convenient for an overnight stay before a flight.Spotllessly clean and very nice helpful staff
nothing to dislike
Restaurant very expensive fire alarm went off at 7am by the time myself and my partner made it down the stairs from the top floor no one said anything everyone was going on as if nothing happened not happy
Had everything I neede
No wifi in rom
Nothing really for a cheap airport hotel
well located and comfortable room
breakfast was very poor and guest male toilets dirty
The close proximity to the airport.
Excellent for airport, NEC and train station
Local Knowledge: When I asked for directions to the train station I was handed a printout with a walking route across a car park and a main road. There is a free shuttle train from the airport just around the corner from the hotel! Also when I asked how to get to the Mailbox centre staff suggested I get a taxi which cost £16.00. I could have got a train to Birmingham city centre and walked approx 150 metres to the mailbox for less than half the taxi fare.
Right in the airport / station/ NEC complex. Rooms are comfortable, everything works, hotel seems quite new. Speedy service on reception, the bar and in the restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were good. I will definitely stay here again if the need arises
You are on the airport so car parking is expensive. One short term car park is opposite, £30 for 24 hours but the hotel gives you a card which reduces this fee down to £16.
Very convenient for early morning flts.
A clean room with a comfortable bed and a good shower cubicle. Being able to open the window and let some fresh air into room. Great location a few minutes walk from Airport.
Restaurant, lift, bed.
Cleanliness of room. No kettle Felt pokey
I had some trouble with my booking on arrival. However this was quickly resolved by the receptionist. I think It might have been the fault of Booking.com
2 minute walk to airport termianl, very useful with early flight and 3 year old
Liked it for the convenience of being able to travel into Birmingham and the NEC in no time at all.
Very modern room, loved the 'pod' bathroom - probably the best hotel shower I have come across in a long time. Handy hotel for quick transfer to the NEC.
Dining area too cramped. Not enough staff to supervise breakfast - various items had run out each morning we were there and no-one seemed to be watching out for that.
food 1st class
cant think of anything
Friendly staff , great location ,lovely food, ideal for events in nec
the location, the room especially the bathroom, evening meals and service. staff were pleasant. Good value for money and would stop again.
The Breakfast was a bit hit and miss as to what was available food wise and did have to wait two mornings out of three for certain items (bacon, hash browns) and although I realise that the idea of the hotel is a short stopover type of place, at times there was not enough room in the restaurant area and we had to make do in the lounge.
Its money worth it. Paying for breakfast is very worth it. The hotel is just a few steps from the airport. Thanks a lot will come again.
