bed was comfy bathroom and shower were good
location is around a roundabout so if walking very hard crossing over the road as constant traffic and cars going very fast pillows were not as comfy as the bed
Location with regards to where we were working was handy. Check in guy very polite and friendly
Roads outside used as race track until early hours of the morning keeping us awake at the front of hotel. People returning to hotel and rooms with no control shown and no regards to us sleeping. Poor response from staff. Various different and much cheaper room rates, even for walk ins infront of us as we sat in the bar next to reception. Receiption staff at checking out appaling.
Its an Ibis so everything was great an similar to any other Ibis and thats perfect. Nice wifi, Nice mattress. The hotel was a 20 minutes walk from the city center but that was not a problem at All.
The modern quirky bedroom/bathroom design;the good service;the decent food. It's all very much geared toward the business traveller (not for a family holiday!),and, under those terms,it succeeds very well
The hotel was basic but very comfortable! The rooms are cleaned daily and there is heating in each room with a television with loads of channels. Close to the city centre with a short taxi drive so location was good.
The food was mediocre. The breakfast was overpriced for the quality of the food, however there was a wide variety to choose from.
The hotel was very clean and tidy with very friendly staff.
Not really anything
I STAYED WITH MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR 1 NIGHT. AS SOON AS WE GOT TO THE ROOM THE PASS WOULDN'T WORK. ONCE INTO THE ROOM THERE WAS A HORRIBLE SICKY KIND OF SMELL, THE CARPET WAS FILTHY AND THE WINDOW BLINDS WERE DIFFERENT SHADES AND ALSO DIRTY. WE ASKED FOR ANOTHER ROOM WHICH WE WERE GIVEN, BUT THIS WASN'T MUCH BETTER. AT EXACTLY 1.17 IN THE MORNING THERE WERE A FEW YOUTHS RUNNING ALONG THE HALLWAY SCREEMING AND SHOUTING WHICH WAS DISCUSTING. I REPORTED ALL OF THIS THE NEXT MORNING AND ALL I WAS TOLD WAS THAT I SHOULD HAVE REPORTED IT STRAIGHT AWAY AS THERE IS SECURITY 24 HOURS IN THE HOTEL. I COULD HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THIS ON MY ARRIVAL. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.
good value for money
checked in at 12 midnight was prepayed guy at reception messed around with my debit card for over 20 min
The staff was very good and very helpful nothing was to much trouble, the stay at the hotel was because my father had to go into heartlands hospital and it was in close proximity to the hotel
It's a very good hotel for what you pay, nice and safe. Lovely place to stay if you only need the hotel for sleeping or doing work. It's closer to the Bullring then you think, taxi cost £8 at 4am on a Saturday
the hotel and the room were both very clean, bed was very comfortable. the hotel is well situated for central Birmingham. there is a mcdonald's next door and a morrisons supermarket 5 minutes drive away. free wifi was very easy to access .
the bath/shower room was tiny, and the design reminded of a caravan shower. the breakfast was overpriced at £8.50, I usually pay this for 'as much as you can eat buffet' in other hotels, here it was a very small breakfast . I would advise anyone staying here to drive 5 minutes to the morrisons supermarket and have breakfast in their café it will be much better value.
Value for money, convenient for me, and friendly service.
Clean and comfy
Close to city centre, McDonald's and bus stop nearby.
the toilet water leaked to the carpet in the room
Staff were very unfriendly and management was even worse. My stay was during the winter and as i entered the room, the heater wasn't working. When i brought this to the attention of the staff, they suggested bringing in a very small mobile electric heater, which didn't make a slightest difference. Asked to be refunded as i could find another hotel (there were no more rooms in that hotel), they refused. Never going to Ibis again!! Beware.
Very clean hotel
Fine experience will avail again
Price Location Staff Service Cleanliness
Very short choice menu
Check-in was quick and efficient Staff were friendly and helpful Hotel was nice and quiet The very reasonable price
No iron and board in room - but there were ironing facilities on the second floor
Location free parking
The bed was extremely comfortable.
room was clean. bed was comfortable. good shower. polite staff.
some of the other guests were noisy at times
Pleasant clean room. Excellent shower.
Very minor debit point - milk wasn't replenished by Housekeeping.
The comfort of the bed was amazing. The location of the hotel was ideal. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The free parking was wonderful.
The restaurant wasn't so great. Delaying the check out time was so expensive would have been better to spend another night instead.
