Basic hotel with decent prices. Very clean, comfy beds and very close to Birmimgham city centre. Was tempted to book with the Brittannia hotel since it was cheaper but after seeing the state it was in I'm glad I didn't! I found it strange that a hotel in England didn't serve English breakfast. Rooms are on the small side. |

I likes the location, it was in the bustling Arcadian area, and you can easily access the main attractions from this hotel. I liked the prompt service on reception. The bathrooms seem recently refurbished, and this makes it modern and up-to-date. The rooms were a little on the small side, the bathroom had a little step that we kept stubbing our toes on! It's in the heart of the nightlife, and you can hear the music slightly. We stayed on a Thursday so it wasn't as busy. The bed was a bit to hard. |

The hotel was clean and the staff in general were helpful on check in and when checking out. The noise level at night is quite high but this is understandable given the location of the hotel. The security on the entrance at night was a bit different, if anything I would expect a swipe card to gain access after hours would be more appropriate. |
