Ibis Birmingham CentreLadywell Walk, B5 4ST Birmingham (Show map) Good, Score from 580 reviews“a warm welcome from the start, plenty off staff to assist at the checking in and departing procedures, informative and helpful, rooms clean and tidy although a little tight in the bathroom. Did not have a meal at the Birmingham Ibis though facilities looked comfortable. We will be looking to stop again at this hotel and this time try out what Ibis has to offer.”

Very convenient location. Nice and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only negative wouldn't pay for breakfast again the Bacon and eggs etc were too hard to eat! A waste of £7.50. Go to the Bull Ring very short walk away for a good Breakfast at half the price.

Very noisey. Situated near a nightclub, which is open until 4.00am in the morning. Hotel attracts young people out ont he town, as a result, very noisey. People running up and down the corridor in the early hours. Didn't feel safe.

In walking distance of the main shopping areas, nightlife (clubs, bars, Chinatown & gay area on the doorstep) and close to the main train station. The hotel rooms are clean and functional and good value for money. A catch 22 situation in that due to the close proximity of the nightlife, the noise levels outside the hotel did not abate until 4 A.M. There was also a number of alcohol related incidents outside, which required door screening at the hotel. Not a location for the elderly or families with young children.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and hotel in general for the price we paid! Just round the corner from the bullring and right next to a cluster of trendy pubs which were also serving food. Good breakfast, 24/7 bar and restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful Shame they do not have their own car parking facilities over the 2 nights we stayed we forked out a further £26 on parking. (Secure 24hr parking) There is one car park opposite the hotel and another round the corner. The one opposite is extremely tight, if you have a large vehicle I would avoid.

Friendly knowledgable staff make this more than just a budget hotel. I couldn't fault the facilities. Ideal for my overnight business stop. Good location. Minutes from the station. Clean comfortable room, and quiet. Spacious shower. I would consider booking here again for a shopping trip. Sadly I didn't make use of any of the nearby restaurants, something for everyone.

The purpose of the visit was to spend a few hours in the city and then attended the Villa V QPR game in the evening so this was central for both purposes.

Price was better than travelodge and not far apart so I opted for ibis. First impression of lobby was that it was modern and nicely decorated. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was big. Location was great. We parked at nearby pershore street multi storey for £3 per 24 hours which is brilliant. Within 5 mins walk of markets and bullring shopping centre and lots of eating places. Heater in room was great. Had to give room number to get back in at night so felt quite secure. Check in from 12 until 12 is a lot better than some hotels. Even though it's located near pubs/nightclubs it wasn't noisy at all. Was completely ignored by check in staff for over a minute while they had a conversation- not a good first impression at all! Shower wasn't very hot both times I used it.

I liked almost everything! The hotel staff were very poliet and helpful. My partner and I felt like we wasted our money on the unlimited Internet package. It took ages to set up, although someone came to help us the Internet was very slow. The cleaning was good apart from the fact that a cleaner left the cleaning cloths in the bathroom which we felt was very unhiegenic.
