Score from 1568 reviews Very good
It's extremely noisy - the noise from the nightclub kept me awake till 3.30am. But you get what you pay for - it is a budget hotel and for the price you can't really complain.
Value for money Comfortable bed Clean room and bathroom
MUSIC FROM NEARBY CLUBS! Even on Wednesday night. Got worse during the weekend!
Staff were very helpful and courteous. Facilities good. Room comfortable.
The surrounding area was awful.noise all night from other venues
The hotel itself was lovely
did not like the size and layout of the room, pretty claustrophobhic and the bathroom, well the airplane bathrooms are better sized plus break fast for vegetarians, nah not good. waste of money
proximity to new street station
Twin room was small for the price, and beds were uncomfortable
Good location to the Alexander theatre, good security key to get in the lift
Lack of iron in the rooms is annoying. Had to use a communal ironing room! The location although excellent can also be noisy at night depending on where your room is located. My room was very close to bars in the Arcadian.
The location is excellent for work and play.
Nice room, comfortable..
Everything was great. They could offer hot breakfast options though.
This hotels great if your going to Birmingham for a night out or a shopping weekend and need to be in middle of everything.
Good location, very friendly personnel, reasonable prices
Key card didnt work and had to return with luggage back down to reception. Went with receptionist and door opened to find already occupied room.back to reception with luggage for new room.as single female traveller felt vulnerable
Location ideal for shopping or theatre.near to numerous dining options.
we didnt sleep well on our second night as was so noisy outside and was hot we jad the window open. The next day we discovered that we could have been moved and that there was airconditioning. So this waa not the Hotels fault. I just didnt complain until the morning.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The Bullring just across the road.
Excellent location. Many good restaurants near by. Parking over the road for only £10.
The location and noise until 5 in the morning, we did not sleep at all
Staff was very very kind and helpful at the reception
Noise from clubs ridiculous, one side of room had no lights at all so was in darkness. One bed couldn't see tv as was round the corner.
Rooms are big
Room very small. Not much storage space. Unpleasant carpet.
Good location. Quiet. Free WiFi
The location is top-notch. Within walking distance from everything: Chinatown, Bullring shopping centre, train station, Victoria Square and the library.
Bathroom was tiny. The shower cubicle was only just big enough. Not enough room to turn round.
I thought the location of this hotel in the Chinatown area of Birmingham would mean disturbed night due to noise, but not at all. My last minute booking was handled very well using the Booking.com app!
No iron in room, very tight rooms with tiny bath room and smelly dirty looking carpets! Please get rid of the carpets!! Really set my allergies off
Great location easy access to all main attractions
Friendly staff on reception. Visible staff cleaning & keeping things tidy. Rooms quite small but have everything you need. Again nice & clean. Shower & toilet more that adequate. Brilliant location. Breakfast was 10 out of 10. The choice you had was very good, even the most fussy eater could have found something to please. You wouldn`t have got better value elsewhere if you had walked into town which we normally do. Ask for a room on the back if your a light sleeper otherwise you`ll hear all the night clubbers at kicking out time at about 4:30am if your on the front of the Hotel!!! Would stay again. Thank you.
storage of luggage after check out is against payment and expensive too
Being at the front of hotel. . Noisy at night.
The location of hotel was good and near shops. Comfortable rooms
Not impressed with the breakfast better quality available at a better price locally
I had not been home for sometime. It was close to the Bull Ring, so i found it easy to find my way round . The hotel was fine and clean. The Bedroom was at the back of the hotel,so i got a good night sleep.
The rooms on the hippodrome side are quite noisy due to the bars and clubs on that side.
The hotel is very conveniently located to New Street station making it a cheaper option than hotels near the Airport/NEC even with the train fare.
