The worst hotel have ever been in Birmingham. The bedding so poor infact I regret lodging there. Serious improvement to be done there.
Staff are really friendly and very helpful! Breakfast was excellent! Room was clean and had everything we needed.
Pillows were hard :/
Noise of music until early hours.
It was in a great area for shopping restaurants etc.
The noise was horrendous on the road side. It was all night till 5 or 6 in morning. Although bed was comfortable I didn't get a decent sleep.
I love the location of this hotel, in the heart of China town & a short walk to new street, the bull ring, lots of places to eat on the doorstep
The bathroom floor had a hole in it & a small leak
Stayed here as within a ten minute walk of New Street Railway Station for train to NEC. Friendly welcome on arrival. Room clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Will stay again when we come up to see the sites.
Simple straightforward facilities for a reasonable price VERY convenient for station and centre Helpful and efficient staff Good value breakfast Felt safe in 'lively' part area
Not the hotel's fault but this area of the city is 'party central'. Most rooms look over The Arcadian leisure complex with its lively outdoor bars, terraces and facilities. On Friday/Saturday it is 'lively' and indeed noisy until 4am. Suggest you request a 'quiet room' when booking
Lobby Area was aesthetic
Room was Tiny, Bathroom was even smaller, Cold Shower, Have to hold shower above you because of terrible water pressure, Loud nightclub right outside,
Location was very good. Close to New street station.
Drilling noise at 8am and also noisy neighbours in the corridor very late at night.
good for city tour, but rough crowd around , loads of police siren
very noisy whole night music and party sounds very difficult to sleep
Clean comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good location in the centre of the city and close to New Street Station. Would stay there again.
Great location and service, value for money.. Good breakfast
Amazing location. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Great value for money. Will be returning!
location - the streets outside can be noisy till 3am or later, the airconditioning in the room is very poor so you need to sleep with the window open - or not sleep as the case may be
The central location helps with all amenities . Good value for this location
The room and bathroom felt small and clostrophobic .could not drive into car park as located in an awkward place. Other car park cost me £10 for overnight parking
The price The bed was amazingly comfortable The room was compact but suited my needs. I liked the TV at the foot of the bed! The room and toilet/ shower room were perfectly clean
Wee bit noisy as the room was looking down onto chinatown square and nightclubs but I still managed to sleep because the bed was so delightful! The room was also a bit too hot and I could not open the window due to the noisy clubbers below.
Location was really good.
Room had not been properly cleaned. Toilet and sink were dirty. Previous occupants rubbish on desk. Coffee cup had been used and empty milk still there. Took ages to get served at the bar
Location was incredible. Close to train, shopping, restaurants. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.
location, cleanliness, parking in pershore street multi storey 24 hrs £3.80 excellent staff and check in have stayed here many times. ask for a room on a quiet floor as lots of young people can be rowdy after being out this can happen in the early hours,
the tv sound is abysmal you cannot hear speech clearly at all. little tv speakers made much worse by placing the tv inside a wooden (ill match to the rest of the wood in the room) worse! this is the same in every ibis we have stayed at, a small point but when your wanting to watch tv waiting to go out or after you return it's annoying, very
Good location , comfy bed, nice staff
Good quality at very reasonable rate
Rooms on small side
Staff was very friendly and check-in was swift. Room , although a bit on the small side , was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Location is very handy for New Street station and shopping / nightlife.
Water pressure in the shower on the slow side. Noisy in the evenings , the area is very busy.
The beans and eggs were cold the bacon was like leather...did not enjoy at all !!
Great to be near shopping centre
A lot of noise at night with music
