On the seafront in the heart of Brighton's 'Lanes', this friendly hotel has a pool, gym and free Wi-Fi. It is well-located for nightlife, restaurants and the beach.
Score from 2696 reviews Good
Next to Brighton Railway Station, in the city centre, the Jurys Inn Brighton is a 15-minute walk from the beach. It boasts a 24-hour reception, bar and restaurant.
Score from 720 reviews Good
Situated in central Brighton and with views of the seafront, this magnificent Grade II Listed building overlooks the West Pier and offers free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1488 reviews Good
In the vibrant North Laine area of Brighton, the sumptuous myhotel fuses cutting-edge technology with unique design. The boutique hotel has an authentic Indian restaurant and intimate cocktail bar.
Score from 654 reviews Very good
3 mins from station; near to fave pubs, friends and shops. Room warm and comfy with openable window. Excellent - perfect for short break.
Nowhere to put/hang anything in bathroom. Shower temperature a bit wobbly and water pressure not huge, though adequate. Didn't like plastic thing for holding shower hose very high up. Would have preferred more ordinary teabags.
having to pay to leave luggage for 4 hours
close to station and only 10 mins wall to see front. Medium size rooms, walk in shower but poor pressure. Was on 10th floor at back with great views
Wifi active but very poor, couldnt open any apps so reverted to 3G. Bit hilly this close to station so not suitable for elderly. Charged me £2 to leave my bag after checkout, never experienced this b4 and have travelled extensively!
the location and some of the staffs were helpfull
the cleaning service is not good and some of the staffs not friendly
Room very basic and of poor design. Bathroom installed as a module and not user friendly. Little shelf space in bathroom or room. Only one uncomfortable chair although you can sit on the suitcase shelf, but then the case has to go on the floor. Wooden floor; it would be good to at least have rugs to tread on when you get out of bed. Bedside shelf about 20 cms. below level of bed so difficult to see alarm clock.
I stayed at ibis with my partner for 3 nights when we were in Brighton visiting family. The hotel is a few metres from the train station and has 24 hour access which was ideal when we arrived from London at gone midnight. It is also within walking distance to the main shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, Brighton Pier and the Royal Pavilion. We had a room on the 7th floor that was spacious and had a large comfy bed. The bathroom had an interesting, futuristic design and was very clean. A hairdryer was provided which I used every day. The free Wi-Fi was fast and the TV had a good range of channels. The staff were friendly and efficient - it took us less than 2 minutes to check in and get into our room.
Despite being on the 7th floor our view was slightly obstructed by the ugly, large grassy roof of the building opposite - we could just about make out The Brighton Wheel in the distance. We didn't have the breakfast as it was rather pricey considering there were other buffet restaurants across the road offering cheaper meals. The bathroom was very small although this didn't really cause any problems, however the shower had a tendency to suddenly change temperature of it's own accord!
Staff hygiene size of room Value breakfast
The beds ie single to small to hard they maybe new but not comfy nice to sit on but not the best to sleep on Could do with a longer coffee table for 2 cases to fit please or a frame on the wall to pull down for cases to rest on Cost of parking a big put off sorry never experienced this cost no warn when booking on web
Comfortable bed. Good security in hotel. Fab ironing room.
Not as quiet in the hotel as expected from the website....lots of banging noises on the top floor. The towels are very, very small. The kettle in the room is nowhere near the electic socket, which is a bit dangerous if one is charging a mobile/laptop etc.
Good rooms, comfortable beds, quiet in spite of being in a very noisy part of Brighton.
Hard pillows, and the smallest towels I have ever encountered in my long travelling, hotel visiting life. The towels were a little larger than hand towels, I am skinny, and they were not enough.
The location is just perfect, only 1min from the main station and about a 10mins walk to the Pier and the shopping area. Lots of restaurants and pubs close to the hotel as well as small shops for drinks and food. Best hotel I have stayed in during my 5day trip in uk. Very comfortable bed and a good size of the room. Fair prices.
Although the room was actually quiet, the cleaning lady woke me up at 10 as she was hoovering outside my room and slammed the hoover against my door a few times!!?? Thank you! ...also i have never paid money before to leave my luggage in the luggage room for another 2hours... (£2) ...but I loved my stay here!
Central, quiet, comfortable. Spaceous room, nice shower.
Mattress and pillows not too comfortable. Cannot shut out the light as the 'curtain' does not fully hide the window.
Staff were very friendly and the bedroom was spotless, located 2 minutes from train station
After paying £180 for 2 nights (albeit Saturday and Sunday) The cost of £2.00 per bag to store at the hotel is extremely poor customer service, Premier Inn dont charge so im afraid I wont be back, especially when paying rack rate for the room
Such a good value for money. 100% recommended
The friendliness of the staff.
Great location, clean rooms. Lovely hotel in general.
Location and facilities were good, staff at reception and bar area were friendly and helpful.
The night staff, the doorman automatically assumed you were their to cause trouble and treated you like children when you entered the hotel, almost telling us off and sending us to to bed when we had done little for them to moan about. They also decided to call my room and complain of noise when nobody was in their. Seemed like they were trying to entertain themselves as it was a pretty quiet weekend.
Very conveniently situated to the railway station and the city centre. We slept very well. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We liked the welcome tray.
Sunday evening catering - practically non-existent, a lot of things had run out. We thought that the £2 a bag for left luggage was pretty mean.
Hotel is in the perfect localization (100 m from the train station and 10 min walk from the beach). Our room was really clean and quiet. Wifi works really good in the whole hotel. Beds are really comfortable.
not enough basic facilities
Over all the hotel was good. Near the train station and near the center. The staff was helpful but the breakfast room was to small. Good hotel for this price.
The WC and shower in the room is something I did not like.
Good value, close to train station and short stroll to key shopping and eating areas, good for a 1 or 2 night stay. It's not luxury but I would pick this hotel over many of the tired older B&B's on the seafront. We're a couple in our 40's that have been to Brighton a few times to visit friends or go to gigs and this is in a great location and perfect for a short break. If you're looking for clean, simple and central accommodation and don't mind walking to get around then I would definitely recommend it.
