Very friendly attentive helpful staff. Reception area was very welcoming. The whole hotel was spotless. Excellent shower. Comfy bed. Amazing soundproofing - there is quite a noisy road outside, but we couldn't hear it at all, I was also surprised how busy the breakfast room was as we hadn't heard any other guests. Breakfast was reasonable value and very efficient. The guy clearing the tables was super fast. Very convenient to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel. We had a good evening meal too. Location is brilliant, right near the harbour with lots of restaurants, markets and shops nearby and a short walk to the main shopping centre. As in many hotels, the toast was cooked on one of those conveyor-belt things that never toast it enough. A minor quibble!

Location is very central Teamaking facility Hairdryer Warm water came quickly in the shower. Soap and shampoo already there. Breakfast until 10 (warm) and until 12 (cold) Checkout until 12 Wifi is NOT free! But in fact rather expensive. (9£ / day) Breakfast is NOT included (8£ / person&day) It smelled in the bathroom out of the sink. You also have to pay for television.

I like the location of the hotel and everything was literally walking distance. The rooms were pretty clean and spacious. I didnt like the air cool system of the hotel as at times it was quite warm and the only respite we had was to open the window. It is okay for colder days to stay in the room but when it is warm outside around 22 degrees we had to open out window to make it pleasant.

Bedrooms great. Bathroom good Breakfast ! went in at 9 am . Reception quite willingly took our £7.99 each but didnt bother to get food out. Scrambled egg hard and only 2 hash browns left. Also, on checking in the man on reception could see my parents were elderly (77) and put them in room 459. a long walk for them.

Good place to stay close to hippodrome and bars clean and comfortable. Only one complaint that the bar closed without warning at 12 would have been great if we could have had another drink.
