Pillows or lack of them Warm room
Location, cleanliness and price
Toilet cubicle a little small
Excellent staff, very helpful and patient with our big group.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fit for purpose. They gave me extra pillows when I asked, and there was a good selection for breakfast
It was very basic, and small but we weren't spending much time in the room so we were happy with that
Excellent staff especially Ms Ana Fantastic triple room Has all the basics Clean and crisp
Rooms were nice.
Mattresses were too thin, being a heavy set man i could feel the slats of the bed through it. Diner had the feel of a truck stop and only a kfc and a pub locally for food.
Located at a service station with a local pub serving food and drink, very polite staff.
Room was extremely small the shower had a hardly frosted door so everyone in room could see you. The beds were extremely firm almost as bad as sleeping on the floor.
Everything, but mostly the price.
There was nothing that we did not like, but tea and coffee making facilities would be good, but not essential.
Price Modern Clean
Maybe a kettle to make a coffee, but I guess that would've put the cost up.
Convenience of location
No tea services. Pillows not comfortable
The property is very clean.
The one major problem was that if you are travelling on public transport it is very difficult to get to.
Friendly service . Although busy hotel no noise of other guest. Bath room very clean
The only thing didnt like was the very hard bed . And horrible pillow.
Excellent value for money. The Ibis Was by far the cheapest price I could find , so I was quite surprised by the quality of the place. The continental breakfast was very good. The place generally was very clean. Our room was very compact , but it was exactly what we were looking for for one nights stay. If it wasn't for the bed , I would have given the Ibis an excellent rating.
The bed was extremely hard and I found it very difficult to sleep on. The wi-fi didn't work also, but this did not matter so much.
Loved the design of the room. Lovely and clean. Ideally located for Alton Towers.
Mattress was a bit on the firm side
The room my kids slept in had issues with spiders and roaches.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were very helpful and after a 5 hour drive being able to get something to eat a 11pm was a blessing with hungry child. Would stay here again.
The hotel walls were a bit thin and so noise from the rooms next door could have been a problem if we had not wanted to be up early anyway.
Room was basic but very clean and had everything that we needed.
Room was on ground floor, people outside talking loudly til early hrs !! Next time will ask to go upstairs.
Easy to find excellent staff and good all round overnight for a family of 3
Liked everything about this budget accommodation
Location for Alton towers was good, the hotel is just off the motorway. Rooms were basic but adequate
Beds are very uncomfortable the company should invest in better quality mattresses
It was really easy to find, just off m1/a50. 25Min drive to Alton towers, close drive to lots of nearby restaurants. Perfect for just a place to sleep at a budget price. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.
No kettle in room, but there were drink making facilities at reception (for a small charge £1.20) and I should have checked this out before instead of assuming there would be one!
Clean modern rooms. Comfortable beds.
No kettle in room
Very clean, friendly staff
Family room was a double bed with a bunk bead over the top.
Stayed here for an overnight stop after alton towers. Which is 22 miles away but very easy to get to the hotel is situated at a service station and has a great pub if yor looking for food. Breakfast is poor for the price so your better off going into the services. The room was very clean and ao was the general area the staff on reception I felt was poor as her english was not up to scratch and was difficult to understand. This is a good place to stay for a 1 night stop over nothing more but would recommend.
