The hotel was very clean, the staff were very helpful and after a 5 hour drive being able to get something to eat a 11pm was a blessing with hungry child. Would stay here again.
The hotel walls were a bit thin and so noise from the rooms next door could have been a problem if we had not wanted to be up early anyway.
Room was basic but very clean and had everything that we needed.
Room was on ground floor, people outside talking loudly til early hrs !! Next time will ask to go upstairs.
Easy to find excellent staff and good all round overnight for a family of 3
Liked everything about this budget accommodation
Location for Alton towers was good, the hotel is just off the motorway. Rooms were basic but adequate
Beds are very uncomfortable the company should invest in better quality mattresses
Clean modern rooms. Comfortable beds.
No kettle in room
Very clean, friendly staff
Family room was a double bed with a bunk bead over the top.
Stayed here for an overnight stop after alton towers. Which is 22 miles away but very easy to get to the hotel is situated at a service station and has a great pub if yor looking for food. Breakfast is poor for the price so your better off going into the services. The room was very clean and ao was the general area the staff on reception I felt was poor as her english was not up to scratch and was difficult to understand. This is a good place to stay for a 1 night stop over nothing more but would recommend.
Bed n breakfast
It was friendly and very clean and cheap
The hard mattress
The staff were friendly especially one called Rosa, she really was most helpful when we had a problem regarding our towels.
The walls are very thin. Very noisy corridors, early morning and late at night we heard children running up and down screaming.
The staff were friendly, really helpful when we said we hadn't decided if we needed breakfast or not. Given that its a roadside hotel and people come and go at all hours of the day and night, it was really quiet.
When I walked in the room smelt like the toilet hadn't been cleaned in ages. Every time I opened the door the smell was overwhelming. Also, I booked the room for three people, and we were only given one bath towel and one hand towel - when asked we were only given one extra hand towel. There was no bathmat - the sign saying you need to ask for one is in the shower - its too late there!! And finally we had reserved three beds, and only two were made - we had sheets for the third, but I did not expect to have to make it myself.
Cleanliness and location
Only 1 pillow per person and very thin matress made for an extremely uncomfortable night! Also not that inpressed had to make up bunk bed!!!
!st class food outlets on site Close access to main roads Clean modern room, helpful staff
No kettle in room for tea making
Could have done with more pillows :)
Staff polite and professional. Clean room, crisp white sheets and a quite night sleep. Decent tea and toast for breakfast.
My son loved the bunk bed above the Main double bed
The plastic mattress protector made me sweat at night and made me feel uncomfortable
Rooms were immaculate and smartly laid out. Staff were friendly and answered all queries in a concise and professional manner. Kitchen area was exceptionally clean and spacious.
There was no sink in the toilet. Shower door, despite its frozen glass effect, did not provide adequate cover for the showering person. It would be easier to use room keys as opposed to cards.
friendly obliging staff good value wi-fi in rooms comfotable beds
lacked obvious and normally included facilities or perks e.g coffee tea maker in room, shampoo, face cloths. could have been cleaner no expel-air in toilet
clean, comfortable convenient.
blind did not work
Price, easy to get to where you need with freeway right next to the hotel
just a good value hotel good for the family does what it say on the tin
Value for money and location.
Poor wfi connection.
The room were clean but no coffee tea available on room so brought own no cooked breakfast included ,the room had double bed with top bunk so had to keep watching young children going up and down and kept banging head on top so could do with maybe single beds instead, the card locking door was good and safe and really good family pub across the road was really good with children play area indoor nice meals served
No cooked breakfast , no coffee tea in room, not enough pillows given
nothing to fault - get what I expected + more
You have to be joking
Rooms tiny, bed far too hard, pillows thin and almost useless, air system in room broken
