Shower was very good and heating 2
Just a basic room not even separate shower room bed was rock hard just very cheap fixtures and fittings
Excellent hotel. Unfortunately no tea/coffee on room
the staff were really helpful when things went wrong, i have no complaints about them at all.
i didn,t expect the rooms to be so tiny and the receptionist kindly moved me to the disabled room, which was much better. Unfortunatly , it rained badly and the room flooded??? to which i had to move AGAIN, no-ones fault, cant help the weather. Again the receptionist apologised greatly. Then in the middle of the night 2 tiles fell off the bathroom wall and crashed to the floor, scared me to death!! i decided enough was enough and left at 4 am.
Very near the motorway so a welcome rest from driving
cheap and basic, served a purpose
mattress thin, not comfy, toilet small
The staff were truly amazing, ever so helpful and friendly and not afraid to go the extra mile
I was there for a month and The breakfast was the same everyday, a little variety could have helped( change of flavour meat or bagels instead of croissants would have livened it up)
Upon arrival we were greeted by a receptionist by the name of loretra. She made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a credit to ibis and we will definitely book again.
No carpet area around bed
Convenient for the M4
It was extremely basic
the comfort and cleanliness of the room
the staff did not allow me to microwave my food.
good value for money
they didn't change towels or sheets during our stay. Tv has got only 7 channels
The Price £19 pounds for the night great many thanks. Any more prices like this Please let me know. Hugh.
Shower was great
Carpet didnt look hoovered looked like sand around outsides??
Ease of parking. Good price
Internet was slow
-Cheap enough for my budget -Clean and tidy presentation of site, Staff are clearly doing their jobs well -Good room, with second bunk. and ample extra bedclothes ( if you did not use extra bunk) -Good shower and toilet -Air con -Adequate chair and table space -Alittle away from Newport Town centre, but walkable -Staff were very freindly had a good manner. -Access to room thoughout stay and check out time was reasonable at 12pm
Not much I disliked about Ibis Budget and I can understand why: -Tea and coffee and breakfast is not free as it is a budget hotel but these are not essential I would prefer to pay less and have no breakfast anyway. whyh breakfast buffet was £5... though I did not partake any of it... out of my price range -Nothing substantial really
The staff were impeccable and made us feel as if we were at a home away from home. The breakfast area is open to use 24 hours, so you can buy take aways nearby and sit down in the lounge area. The rooms are small and functional but bright and airy. All rooms and areas are very clean. The continental breakfast is OK, but if you would like an English Breakfast, there's is a little café just 400m away that does breakfasts from as little as GBP3,25. There are also lots of take aways very nearby. The hotel is right next to exit 26 of the M4; perfect for Cardiff, Brecon and Swansea. Wonderful shower units!
Wifi didn't seem to work very well for me, but that might just have been bad luck.
Wasnt keen on bunk above double bed and disappointed with no tea and coffee facilities
Went to use the toilet at breakfast area and there was no paper towels to dry your hands and the toilet was covered in faeces not very nice at 6.30 in the morning before our 7 hour drive back to Glasgow
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The bunk bed was not made up for my son even though I specifically booked a room for one adult and one child. We also had to ask for a pillow for him.
Very good price
Friendly helpful staff, and the price was excellent as we really only wanted a bed, so no complaints. Good value and good location.
The room was clean, comfortable and value for money. It was easy to find and so close to m4, staff were helpful too
Would have liked instructions to use TV as I'm not very technical lol
When we booked the room we booked a double room not a triple room but we were put in a triple room and there was nothing in the room to make any hot drinks
Very polite staff who were happy to help.
The bed was a little hard.
Frosted shower screen which leads directly into the room (not a massive problem for a solo traveller but perhaps wouldn't be ideal for friends and family staying together)
