“ Clean. Comfortable bed. Strong and hot shower. Excellently friendly and efficient staffs. With all the basic providence it promised, I felt that it was better then basic and had definitely exceeded my expectations. Overall very comfortable and value stay. Keep up the good job! ”

Good value at the weekend. Facilities generally good for a budget hotel, decent sized rooms. I have never seen such a dirty sofa in a hotel room. Had to go to reception to ask for a sheet to cover it over ! A shame as general standard of cleanliness was otherwise good.

Ok Location. £15.00 Taxi ride to town centre. Very helpful staff. Clean accommodation. Lack of restaurant and bar facilities. Noise from incoming guests in early hours of morning.

The beds were really comfortable, the showers were really good. There wasn't a bar but staff had informed us that they had an application in to the council for a licencee. within 20 mins of arriving at the hotel one of our friends in the group was getting harassed by a member of staff that works at the hotel through a dating app for the iphone. He found this very off putting towards the stay as he was unaware who the member of staff was (all that is known is he is a male) and he felt he couldn't go down into the hotel lobby incase of being approached my this male.

Overall the service was very good and the room was spacious and comfortable. They could do with a bell/buzzer at reception. It was unattended when we came to check out and I had to go searching and knock on the Private' kichen door to ask for assistance.

Breakfast has a great range Nice big family sized rooms Easy to find Great location for day trips plenty to do in the area Family rooms could be assigned to same groups of people, having a family with older children next door, meant door banging woke us at night, and contrary i'm sure our son playing and singing at 6am was not so welcomed by them :)

Clean, good location, good shower, comfortable and quiet room. Internet access far too expensive. If you need access, it defeats the purpose of looking for a budget price. For this reason I won't use it again.

Very convenient location, just off the motorway. Comfortable bed. Other outlets within 2 minutes walk to get food/drinks. Saying good morning to 2 room cleaning staff and being ingored as they continued with their conversation in a language other than English, although the painters doing the refurb were very friendly.

Clean and pleasant surroundings. Quiet at night. I would give the stay 4 stars out of 5. Would have been a 5 star stay had it not been for the problems listed over in the other box. On the last day, despite the Do Not Disturb notice being placed on the door, the cleaning staff just walked in without even knocking and the wife was sat there with just a towel around her as she had just got out of the shower. Also as we were on the ground floor there were no limiters on the windows which meant that we could not have the windows open during the night which made the room a little stuffy. If limiters are used then you could have the windows open slightly and no one would be able to get in

Easy parking. Inexpensive but excellent service. Super Toby Inn within 2 mins walk for great carvery and a eat as much as you wish breakfast for £3.99 A little bit out of Cardiff. No teletext on tv.
