La chambre, le petit-déjeuner dans une vaste pièce. Hôtel très bien situé.

Discothèque située juste sous les fenêtres de certaines chambres de l'hôtel, avec un bruit jusqu'à 5h du matin... (c'était un samedi) Impossible de dormir.

Pour ceux qui montent vers le Nord, c'est une situation géographique idéale pour faire une escale avant d'arriver en Ecosse. Etablissement moderne bien situé et facile à trouver en arrivant de l'autoroute. Chambre grand confort digne du standing IBIS France.

la proximité avec le centre ville et le parking sont très appréciables.

les chambres sont petites et le premier étage très bruyant. nous avons dû changer la deuxième nuit car nous n'avons pas pu dormir avant 4 heures du matin.

Difficult to find car park - at the back but in one way system

Easy to find. Car park adjacent to hotel. Friendly efficient staff. Very comfortable.

Payment for WiFi but this will be free from June.

Beds and pillows

I liked everything I saw, and I liked the fact that is was easy access on the buses to explore the countryside and other towns and villages.

2 min walk from station, plenty of restaurants close by, good size room and shower.

wardrobe was dificult to get into. Price of food and drinks was on the dear side.

Breakfast was expensive so did not book it. Parking facilities and how to get to them should be made clearer in advance.

It was clean and friendly, ideally located for the station, shopping and amenities and very reasonably priced, including the breakfast which was more than adequate.

The bathrooms are clean but basic

The Ibis in Carlisle is a comfortable low priced hotel with comfy beds and a good shower. Cumberland sausages at breakfast are excellent and several restaurants and a great cinema within two minutes walk.

Great location, very good value and lovely reception staff

The car park was really difficult to find. The beds were not comfy at all and the room was very warm (the aircon would not work properly)

City centre location with free parking

The hotel was perfect, just what I needed. It was very easy to find from the railway station. The room was comfortable. I loved the walk-in shower. The breakfast was excellent.

I did not realise I could buy food in the hotel in the evening, (my fault,) and I walked all over Carlisle looking for somewhere to eat. The only place I could find that I liked was Pizza Express. The gentleman there juggled bookings to enable me to have a table for one.

Central to the town centre, good breakfast buffet. Bit of a mess up in booking in, thought we had not paid....Difficulty in my wife accessing the room by phone from Spain as they did not seem to know which room I was in, if someone answers the phone they should have 100% English! Otherwise pretty good for the money paid.

Please ensure that admin is efficient, and those answering the phone can speak perfect English. Three calls before I got through from Spain.

Location to what we wanted to see, Cathedral & Castle, roman ruins and gateway to Hadrian's wall.

Too much for breakfast - went to pub across the street and got ours for half as much and it was good too.
