Score from 177 reviews Excellent
Looked nice all round
Carpark and bed not enough milk in room
Location was sandwiched between a very busy intersection/roundabout and a railway line. Noise was a big factor.
good value room, warm and comfortable. Good reception staff
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming we were a large party with several children and found them very helpful.
No family rooms made it a little awkward with young children.
Convenient for the area I was visiting
Had booked for £33 they told me it was £49 and the fire alarm went off in the early hours
Everything you could need was in the room. Nice soft bed but did find the pillows hard but you can't please everyone. Perfect walking position for the town centre.
Not enough lifts for the size of the hotel.Lucky we were on the first floor so we didn't mind using the stairs. Also parking was a problem not enough space when the hotel is full.
only one lift
Location is awful - you risk life and limb to cross the roads if you come on foot to the hotel. Rooms very noisy because of traffic on bypass. Food overpriced and v limited in range.
Being a well travelled person staying in hotels all the time, I have never used an Ibis before.. and I am a complete convert, the bed was the most comfortable I have stayed in and I have never slept so well.
An Ibis is what it is and therefore basic, so I didn't use the bar/restaurant and therefore cannot comment
The staff were extremely helpfull, the room was clean, the beds lovely and comfortable,
The room was quite cold, and the double glazing did little to stop the cold wind.
Large room. Comfortable bed. Good sound insulation so I wasn't disturbed by other guests. 5 mins walk into town centre. Breakfast improvement.
Sausages at breakfast had probably been hanging around a bit too long. Bar could have stayed open a bit later
Room size, cleanliness, helpful staff, breakfast food choice.
Room a little noisy as overlooked a busy bypass
the comfy of the bed and the The space in the Hotel how close to Town it was the fact it had car space. The Staff were really nice clean and tidy.
it needs a little music something light and smooth in the eating area.
We only stayed for one night and found everything to be satisfactory.
Staff friendly and attentive staff, clean rooms, great location
sewage smells coming from bathroom noisy dual carraige way keeping me awake all night
Room good size and shower really good too.
Parking was limited and drinks price in the bar area exceptionally high
no pedestrian crossing for town the hotel and room way too hot we had to use the electric fan in the room all through the night
good location,helpful staff,good breakfast
dangerous road to cross to get into the town.
the rate wasn,t reasonable and first day i arrived room wasn,t so clean and tidy.
Nice clean hotel. Nice staff. Eould stay again.
cheerful and comfortable, close to town centre and eating facilities
Location good but pedestrians are isolated and endangered by the lack of even 1 safe place to cross. Car park a little tight
It was Clean.
The stone cold shower, which put my back out for the day. Being woken up three times in the middle of the night by other drunk guests in the corridor. The cooked Breakfast was only just warm. The guy on reception thinking that refunding my breakfast in compensation for the stone cold shower was acceptable.
Clean, spacious room and public areas. Good breakfast.
Bad access for pedestrians - hotel is surrounded by fast traffic, with no pedestrian crossings. Particularly dangerous returning in dark.
