Score from 1039 reviews Good
Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, handy parking, dog friendly
Little difficult to find in the dark and heating could have been better for a winter night
There was a mix up with the booking but this was remedied quickly and efficiently
Looks closer to train station than it is.......cost about £8 each way and we booked because we thought a lot closer
Staff in a sense saying why did you book this hotel at 0030 hrs for the same day.he had to vaccate someone from the room to give me a room. Not felt very welcomed
the ease of getting about from there
good value very comfortable bed
traffic (but not hotel's fault)
Power shower Good free Wifi Clean room Close to road network Helpful staff
Food Under staffed Remote nothing in walking distance
Comfy Beds. Clean Bedrooms & Bathrooms.
Hotel restaurant is only really good for breakfast. Go elsewhere for evening meals as there are far better choices locally.
Location-address is not accurate "restaurant" just snacks and not much available
Food - excellent for vegetarians Staff - very friendly and helpful
The room was rather basic and the TV didn't work (a vital cable was missing). the heater was inadequate and had switched off when I woke up in the morning.
We will never enter Coventry again road works everywhere road signs abismal Nav sat directions completely uslesss shame especially when dark because when you find Hotel it is excellent.
Clean & Tidy. Warm & Dry. No frills but plenty good enough for an overnight business trip. In all, a very enjoyable stay.
Roast dinner wasn't up to much but the breakfast was good.
Cost, Simple book in
food - £9 for a microwaved burger and chips.
Quiet location Lots of free parking Free wifi Comfy beds Staff couldn't do enough for you
Took us a while to figure out how to work the TV - we even had to move rooms as the staff member thought it was broken! (Press channel up...) Light from porch shines under curtains all night Dog barking upstairs for most of the night
main building was comfortable
rooms smelled like a pet store don't know if it was starch but white dust coming of the bedding
The external florescent light on the landing was not switched off until well after 2 am and this woke me up a number of times, the light went out sometime after 2(was so tired did not know what time...) and was back on again around 6, apart from this the bed was extremely comfy and what sleep I did get was good.
bad wifi quality, bathroom is broken, expensive meal
the bed was fabulous, linen clean and fresh, a good nights sleep. the bathroom was clean and the shower and bath were great.
i connected to the wifi but it didn't work even though it was showing full strength. the tv was very old fashioned and it took forever to change channels with the remote control. the carpet was a bit old and scruffy looking. the shower curtain was mouldy. the toilet wasn't secure on the floor, it wobbled a bit and the flush was really weak.
I didn't like the fact there wasn't any air conditioning in the rooms. There was only one member of staff working at night. No room service. You had to get everything yourself iron board was so small it's unbelievable halarious honestly terrible I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.
The Room it was clean and the bed it was warm and softly
Nothing to declare
The beds are very comfortable, more like a 3 star and better than some 4 star places. Staff very friendly and efficient. Very good value, location is good, once found. Dog friendly and only +£5
Maybe take earplugs if you have a lie in, as the walkway goes past each window
Good value, helpful staff, willingness to compensate for a serious problem of noise but excellent for people with a dog, has own coffee and reataurant facilities
having party clubbers bracketed either side of the very small unit that were extremely noisy for most of the sat night till 6am and didnt respond to staff asking them to stop
Location Price Comfortable bed
Feels a little "tired" Door didn't shut too well
It is very difficult to find that hotel. Instead of Ibis hotel Rocket Hotel is signposted. From the given address (Abbey road) it is impossible to find the Hotel.
24 Service of food.
No towels in the room. The radiator was broken. The location is terrible, due to bridge being closed half down the road the sat nav will take you only to one side of the bridge. The side which the hotel isn't on. If the hotel gave clearer instructions such as the road leading to right side of the bridge where the hotel is actually located. The beds are poor and very uncomfortable. The walls were paper thin and I could hear every word the lad next door was saying. Ibis have provided me a great service in the past. Not this time.
Staff were very lovely and friendly, hotel was in nice condition and there was a huge range of services and food available throughout the day. Since all the rooms lead straight outside, you can also order takeaways straight to your room door too. ;)
Radiator was a little hormonal, but nothing we couldn't figure out. Hotel's tricky to walk to and from at night - taxis or cars recommended!
