This hotel is literally just off the Royal Mile and surrounded by pubs and restaurants and local attractions.
Not a very nice view from room but appreciate the situation.
location and price
although wi fi was on it didn't work very well.
highly recommend! It's really a value in such a good place. love the bed, and others were all comfortable as well.
The bathroom was leaking.. Not a big problem.
Great location, friendly staff and a nice room!
Being so close to everything
Location, bed and staff
Very good location and good price.
The room was basic: it felt like a room in a student hall of residence, apart from the double bed and big TV; no pictures on the wall; a plastic-moulded seat at the desk. People and a TV in an adjacent room were slightly audible.
Central location. Pubs and restaurants on doorstep. Discounted parking not too far away.
Room was small.
The location is amazing, everything is five minutes tops from the hotel. The room had perfect size and it's well equipped. The staff was quite helpful and nice.
It was quite annoying paying 2 extra pounds per item of luggage to keep them locked when we left our room, while waiting for the time to go to the airport.
The central location was superb.\It was great value for money.
I booked on behalf of a group of 6 people at slightly different times. On both occasions the price of the rooms was the same, but for the first 2 rooms we had to pay extra for breakfast, but for the final booking, breakfast was free. This was difficult to understand and confused us as a group, and gave me a headache in adjusting the costs for each of my friends to balance things out.
Location Brilliant Rooms clean and comfy
Was clean and comfortable
Breakfast was inedible and over priced
Amazing room, very clean and tidy, friendly staff!
Friendly Staff Location Tidy clean room and decent bathroom Late opening bar Value for money
£9.50 Breakfast rather expensive when you can walk across the road and get a full English for £4.50. Holding baggage should only be £1
Comfortable bed, temperature in room, clean, flat screen TV, enough outlets, wi-fi. Great experience! Perfect location.
* Location is superb; * Staff very friendly and helpful; * The room cleanliness and size; * Bed; * TV and availability of channels; * Fair price. It's not an absolute bargain, but it's not also a 5 star hotel charge; * The free internet connection is enough for basic internet usage. If you need something more robust such as downloading large files, Skype, watching streaming videos and so on, then you'd better consider paying the fee for the Premium service.
* The need to reconnect to the internet again and again everytime you open your computer or mobile device. It doesn't save your settings even within the 24 hour period.
Great city location, yet quite, warm and very comfortable, would stay again.
Cooked Breakfast was a little lack luster but to be fair was a late sitting.
Staff was very nice, friendly and ready to help. Location is good, very convenient for main sightseeings. Room vas very clean and cosy.
Double bed was made from two songle beds, which is not very comfortable for couples, as you can fill the hole in between.
Provides sufficient comfort in all areas and good value for money
breakfast was limited and some items had run out (and I wasn't late!)
Central for everything breakfast was really nice staff were very helpful late checkout was excellent would recommend thanks Mr Mrs rodgers
Location Friendly and helpful staff Good breakfast
Street noise late at night at w/end
Very good value
location / price.
The location for a budget hotel cannot be beat. Right in the middle of the Royal Mile, near all shops, restaraunts, pubs and half way between the castle (up the Royal Mile), and the palace (down)... Staff : friendly and efficient, each one we came across.
When I book a double room I expect a double bed. Why does there seem to be a growing trend amongst these calibre of hotels of shackling two single mattresses together and expecting the customer to be comfortable with that?
Staff very friendly and helpfull great location very clean hotel and great breakfast
