The location is right in de the middle of the centre. Breakfast was good. You have to pay for WiFi and for luggage storage. Room was rather small. Just one old towel per person.

Your location to the hop-on hop-off bus was good as was our walking the royal mile, Your staff should be commended for their commitment to customer service and dedication to helping the patrons. Parking to load and unload bags was difficult and stressful for mature (old folks) like us and the walk from your parking lot was a workout,as it is uphill and difficult to get a taxi that will go such a short distance. It might be worthwhile to arrange some form of shuttle, like maybe a staff member to pick up and return patrons to the parking lot.

Location! Location! Location! The Ibis is like having Edinburgh in your front yard. Besides the two dislikes mentioned, I would do this again and again. Extra charges for tv in rooms; what's up with that, for Pete's sake. Local telephone calls were £3 a minute. That's just crazy.

The staff were helpful and friendly The sheets. They did not fit the bed. My daughter give you the same feedback last year but you haven't listened. If you don't reply to me I will know that you haven't listened again. Also charging for wifi when there are numerous cafes around that offer it free is mean. On the whole, the hotel is a budget hotel on non budget prices.

Friendly and helpful staff. Near to Edinburgh Castle and museums. You can print boarding pass in the reception. No safe box in the room. Extreme saving for the global enviroment. The hotel asks you to use only one towel for the whole week

1. Fantastic location in the middle of the Royal Mile 2. Friendly and knowledgeable staff 3. Clean rooms 4. Kettle with mugs and tea/coffee in each room much needed when walking outdoors in the cold! Ideal for a city break Little to criticise for the price you pay: mainly no free wi-fi, and the odd use of shower gel instead of handsoap at the sink. Overall, would still strongly recommend the hotel

We stayed in two hotels during our trip. This was extremly poor. I usually prefer Ibis for similar quality accross the world and stayed in Germany, France and Amsterdam, but the one in Edinburgh cannot be compared with other hotels from this chain. Verdict: unrecommended.

The location was great, just off the Royal Mile with museums, shops and Edinburgh castle right around the corner. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Internet was not free, not wireless, and kind of slow.

Location is perfect to explore the city. Rooms clean and comfortable .Should I come back in Edinburgh , this will be my first choice . Parking is a problem , but its natural being so central . However close-by parking in multi stories are rather expensive .
