Room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were great and very helpful and friendly. It's really good value for money especially as it's only a ten minute walk from the train station/city centre. Will definitely be staying here again next time I need to be in Glasgow overnight. No free WiFi in room, though is available in lounge on ground floor (which is open 24/7).

The shower was very powerful, the bed was comfortable, the room was cosy and a good size for 2 people. I did not have to pay to keep my room an extra hour which gave me more time to leave the hotel. A lovely cup of tea in the morning was also very good. I did not like that I had to pay to watch the TV, I would have been happier if the TV at least had freeview. The bathroom was a little small. More sugar and milk etc in the room would be good as I had to get ready early to go and ask for some.

Location Very noisy and rowdy function taking place in restaurant/bar/reception, shouting, drunk and fighting. Arrived by myself prior to going to pick up my son; immediately felt very intimitated as walked into a fight with 2 men getting pulled apart. This large party of drunks precluded anybody else from using the restaurant - I ordered a baked potato to eat at reception as I was hungry, but due to all the attention focused on this "party" it arrived cold. The stay was not a nice experience for me or my son, it was very frightening and distressing. I felt sorry for the staff who seemed out of control; one staff member tried to intervene to the best of his ability, but it was too much for 1 person, and I'm sure he felt extremely uncomfortable and overwhelmed with what was evolving - he subsequently said he was going to phone a manager for advice. I don't know how the night progressed downstairs, as I went to the relative safety of our room. There were people knocking on our door on the way passed, and going up and down in the lift shouting and swearing. The same "rabble" were there in the morning, albeit slightly more subdued. On a much more trivial note - there was no ice available for a gin and tonic.

I liked the location and how clean it was. Very comfortable beds. Great shower with power. The bathroom door had to be banged shut, no use when someone else in the room. No free parking facilities.

I know this might sound silly but the bed was just as good as our one at home! We had a wonderful nights sleep - the room temperature was easy to adjust too. Cant believe we can get all that for so little! We are looking forward to getting internet in the rooms. I would like the option to buy a healthy snack breakfast.

The great welcome, perfectly clean and comfortable room (bed was fantastic!), the price and the location The noise from other inconsiderate guests shouting up the corridors at 3.30am on the Sunday morning - however we were in the city at a weekend and the hotel can't really be held accountable for that!!

Pretty good hotel in a good central location. Was great for exploring the city as it is at the top of all the main streets. The room was clean and roomy and the bathroom was nice too (as in any Ibis hotel). The hotel will stamp your car park card and you receive a discounted rate. It costs about £12 a day. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was ok. I thought the Wi-Fi was free in the rooms but it is only free in the Reception area of the hotel. You can have Wi-Fi in the rooms but you have to pay for it. I took a car and the closest car park is a good 5mins walk away.

The hotel was a good price. We were thoroughly disappointed after staff insisted we park my car in the nearby ncp which would provide us with 50% discount due to us being guests in the hotel. However when we left the car park we were forced to pay full price due to us not having been parked for more than 24 hours. If the staff would have notified us of this rule, we would have used a free parking facility.

Staff friendly, clean and comfortable. No shampoo, breakfast was poor at the time I went, no bread for toast, no eggs, bacon was very dry, more unfortunate than a regular occurence I think but it did slightly mar the end of my stay

Easy check in and out. Owing to hotel's appeal to budget-conscious groups for entertainment: gets noisy when they return to their rooms as the corridors facilitate echo.
