Could do with a little more clothes hanging space.
would have been nice to be informed in advance of stay of refurbishments taking place, there was noise outside of our room one morning but it was sorted when we complained to reception
The location is close to the city center.
But the smell is not very good.
Good bed, good shower, good location, fair breakfast.
Our floor had just got new carpet and the smell was really strong. Our bathroom smells cigarette. The window was stocked, hard to shut.
Nothing to complain about
Wifi very intermittent
Clean, very hot showers and nice lay out of the room. Room at the back of the hotel was quiet, with security entry to the lifts and very helpful staff
Thin walls which meant that noisy neighbours could be heard word for word (staff dealt with this in a highly appropriate and timely manner)
Central for what we wanted to do in Glasgow.
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms are cleaned and bed linen is changed every day. The room was very comfortable, quiet and warm. All recommendations.
This hotel was very poor.first impression seemed ok but nothing special, but once got to room was very dissapointd.first room had a nasty smell so had tio be moved, second room was better in smell wise, the sheets were clean thats about it really.to be honest at premire inn or travel lodge is a lot cleaner ,friendlier and cheaper.would have moved to somewhere else but would not have got money back and also at this time of year every where would have been booked..got up in morning for breakfast and did ask for my money back for this.the breakfast was appauling the sausage wasnt very badly burnt, the bacon had more fat and grease than bacon, the beans were scrambled egg had been lying that long that they were all dried out, after this I didnt look any further as I was put of and wasnt hungry any more..this is one hotel I will not recommend of be back to..
Very handy for Sauchiehall street
Noisy in the morning.
Wasn't told about wi fi
location, clean, friendly
bedrooom a bit cell like, could do with some decor to cheer things up
Great location - 15 minutes walk from the Central station or just around the corner from Charing Cross station. The staff member who checked me in was more like hostel staff than hotel staff, he was that helpful
Very pleasant helpful staff.
Being woken up by a noisy 9.00am house keeping run in the corridor. Far too early for me. Did not knock on my door as I had the "do not disturb" sign up, but heard all the knocking & calling on other doors.
Convenient, reasonably priced and friendly. Will be back!
Fast check in,ordered food for room, staff were friendly
Quietness, ability to open window and comfort
Unpleasant smell from the towels, slight aroma in shower room and the small tv
Staff polite and helpful.everything was spotless.
Didn't realise that it wasn't quite within walking distance to the main centre.I suffer with breathing problems, but that is just a personal point.
Good location and price 24hr facilities Late check out time Clean
Poor wifi Room next to elevator Too warm
Not too much to like to be honest
Very noisy through the night, walls paper thin, view of solid brick wall...which some may say is the best view to have in glasgow...
friendly & helpful staff, spotlessly clean hotel, comfy bed, quirky bathroom, availability of gluten free food
The location was good in terms of walking distance of the city centre and West End. The shower was also impressive.
The WiFi provided had a negligible signal in our room. There was construction work next door (our room was at the end of a corridor), which was audible through the bedroom wall during the day that we arrived. The extra charge for leaving luggage was a minor annoyance but understandable, given the low cost of the room. Finally, the only heating was a mounted air con unit over the bedroom door, which was of little help when we wanted to dry clothes from the unforgiving Glasgow weather!
The hotel was convenient for the shops but far enough out to be quiet at night.
We came back from a day out to find our room was still being cleaned. It was late afternoon / early evening so felt this was a bit poor.
