눉The food at breakfast needs improving. We had two evening meals in the hotel. Night 1. Waitress told us 25mins after placing our order, that the chef had said their were no burgers left. Several other diners after us had burgers, imagine our surprise when a burger arrived for one of our diners after she had ordered something different. The fries never arrived, when asked the waitress said she would check, she never came back, no fries. Night 2: we had to ask what was not on the menu, the chef had not told the waitress. What we intended to order was not on that night, fish and chips x 2- mixed grill X1 - slow cooked meat x 1. none avail , on a Saturday night!!. Also half of the dessert menu was not available. We had dined early, no excuse for running out. The chef is accountable I assume for the ordering, they need to review their situation, this had spoiled what had been our first visit to Ibis, and initially fantastic first impression.
눇The reception, waitresses and housekeepers were excellent, especially the young lady who booked us in, who was off to New York in a couple of days. A real credit to Ibis.
