Ibis Hotel Hull  

Clean and well kept

I ate at the Ibis restaurant both nights and found the food abit over-priced yet marginal in quality. Should be alot more eco-friendly too as I saw no sign of that, for instance the option of re-using towel.

ibis hotel hull is well recommended for its location having travelled by train only a few minutes walk from hull railway station and shopping centre within 5 minutes walk away, rooms very clean spacious and air conditioned great value for money and would definately stay there again

Apart from dirty towels that were changed straight away, we had a nice stay, but did literally only use the hotel to shower and put our heads down before going out with friends.

From walking through the door we were made welcome ,I was staying with my 7 year old grandaughter and the staff made a fuss of her which she loved ,I read a lot of reviews about the beds being uncomfortable,totaly wrong ,it was the best nights sleep in a long time,,everyone was friendly ,we will go back there again

My only problem was the area we were in,but saying that it was a strange place to us just felt a bit nervous when we went out but you soon hit the town centre

This is fantastic value for money and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The price was fantastic the reception staff were amazing very very helpfuland the place was gleaming I would definatly recommend and stay again the staff are an asset to the hotel

It could do with a lick of paint and the cleaning staff are not very well presented,

Very helpful and friendly staff, lovely lobby/bar area. Food was nice, especially the breakfast. Bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing.

The only problem I had was lack of security, one night a guy in the bar got a little rowdy an was making all the female guests around him feel uncomfortable with his language and sexual comments to them. Would of felt safer if there was a security guard to have a quiet word with and keep an eye on him.

The hotel was great. My only problem with ibis hotels is the bedroom doors are too heavy and awkward to open. I am on a mobility scooter and opening the door and trying to steer my scooter is very hard. Would benefit from some sort of catch on the door to hold it open or something.

Reception staff were great, rooms clean and did the job. Word of warning DON'T park out front while you pop in to load the car, you'll get a parking ticket!

Apart from the plastic-ness of the bathroom, the shower was good and it was clean.

Staff were not always the most professional although they were friendly. From our window we had an ugly view of the back of the hotel eventhough I had been told they were not busy that night - surely we could have been given a room with a nicer view? The room itself was ok but could perhaps have been a bit more colourful, it looked bland and the bedsheets made it look cheap.
