Ibis Hotel Hull  

Location of the hotel was ideal for me. Fairly central. Staff are quite pleasant and helpful. The manager Phil was very nice and helpful.

Hotel have all the basic stuff. Cleanliness of hotel is poor. The carpet in the room was very old and very dirty with stains all over them. The bath towel that was given to us was dirty with there was a big greyish black blotch on it. Our pillow cases was not very clean either. They had black stains on it. Since we were only staying for a night we did not make too much of an issue about it. I think the hotel needs refurbishing and they had to make sure their linens are replaced.

Friendly staff.

Food. Was double-cooked - dry, hard and unpallatable. Platter very poor value for money. Was going to have all my meals in-house, but ate out. For £18 for a meal, you expect better. However, no complaints about accommodation & service.

Good location easy reach of the shops and bars and railway station , rooms very neat and tidy. They allowed us to book in early and the staff were very friendly.

We found the hotel clean, and very realonably priced. We found ther room warm and had an excellent shower.

The breakfast wasn't the best I have had.

Really impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. Excellent location of the hotel within town and quite near to the train station.

Would prefer to have free internet access.

Non-servicing of room during two night stay. Faulty bathroom door that couldn't be closed. Musty smell in bathroom.

The hotel was a very good price, the staff were friendly and helpful only stayed the one night but used the shower facilities and thought they were amazing didnt want to get out of it!!!

Although the location of the hotel was very close to our destination in hull it was in a part of hull that is run down and not a very nice area. The beds were not very comfortable and the bar shut at 12am when we were just getting in and wanting to have a drink before going to bed.

It was in the town centre

No car parking onsite Room had wallpaper hanging off Room smelt terrible Room only cleaned once (well they made the bed and left 1 new tea cup) Card to get into room was deactivated everyday meaning we had to go back to reception daily and go through basically check in over and over again

Comfortable with good facilities. Excellent location.

Can be noisy at night with doors slamming, but that is mostly lack of respect from fellow guests. Do they slam the doors at home?

Clean bedroom and bathroom. Good faciliities. Near to town.

Location was in centre and 2 min walk from station,really nice clean rooms,

Water under toilet so looked like a leak somewhere,also curtain wouldn't close right in room so had light shining through but defo would stay again

The breakfast is poor but there is a witherspoons pub around the corner
