Score from 439 reviews Very good
A 5 minute walk from Leicester Train Station and the shopping and restaurants of the city center, this hotel has free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Score from 308 reviews Very good
The rooms were very clean and tidy, All the staff were friendly and helpful. And the hotel its self is only a couple of mins walk from the city centre.
not a lot of space in the room, Once you've got bags and shoes on the floor there wasnt much space to move around, but fine if your travelling light.
The price, the location and room functions.
A bit too warm - air-conditioning would have been nice or a fan to supplement the climate system.
Another excellent stay at this hotel, very friendly staff , cleanliness of room . Big improvement with WI-Fi & upgrade of TV. Can't find any faults at all
Large comfortable room good view from top floor Easy access from city / rail / road nice restaurant / bar reat food in the city
cant think of anything
Good location for centre, easy to find
Can't remember anything that stood out.
Lovely clean bedding. Really good shower.
Pillows were a bit brick like, but then again I'm spoiled!
- Dust on the room carpets which made very difficult to breath, especially to my wife who has asthma. - The Horrible sewer smell in the bathroom. - The money oriented staff.
Small parking area, getting slightly dated
Free WiFi was really good, location right on the inner circle road was good and very easy to find. Even though the hotel was obviously quite busy the noise from inside the hotel was minimal. Really good bathroom and shower.
Lack of parking was an issue and caused bizarre parking by other guests. Food wasn't great, only ate one night as it was very expensive for effectively a tuna baguette with some crisps.
Kind & helpful staff who sorted out a problem with the booking. The value for money is outstanding with a spacious comfortable room. Breakfast was not included but was worth the extra cost.
There was very limited parking and as the hotel is situated right next to the station, it was noisy at night.
The blinds let in too much light would have preferred curtains.
Location Cleanless Friendly staff
No ironing facilities in room
The price was great for a in town hotel , a good sized light room, had a great nights sleep , the staff are very friendly always greeted you when you passed them
The only problem was the very small car park , the staff were as helpfull as possible on that to honest
Helpful staff Clean room, comfortable bed Pleasant breakfast
No toiletries at all in bathroom.
my friend and I liked every thing about the hotel we were very impressed and we will be back and also recommend to any one its central easy to get to town also buses run every 15 mins couldn't be better staff are very friendly and helpful.
The manager, or man with the Asian appearance was really. Really helpful, couldn't have asked for a more helpful person whilst waiting on my other half coming from her sisters, it was late and I was worried about her making it there and as I never had my phone he was more than helpful with phoning cabs and even brought her to my room himself. He was an amazing help as were the rest of the staff.
The price was a little dear I think £40-50 would have been appropriate although I know this is the companies choice not the staffs.
Safe, quiet & clean
Location. While it was close to the train station, there was no apparent sign posting, and foyer entry was confusing.
Location - Close to Town Center
1) My room was facing the front of the Hotel which was under the main reception entrance. Unfortunately, I could hear everyone when they were having a conversation when having a cigarette! 2) I went to the breakfast area just to have a Coffee and BEFORE I could even sit down I was told in no uncertain terms by the male receptionist "IF YOU HAVE COFFEE THAT'S CLASSED AS BREAKFAST AND YOU MUST PAY £4.70" !!!! Was shocked with his delivery of the message, and the £4.70 seemed outrageous, anyway lesson learned! Better to drink the Coffee in your own room and NOT get shouted at or go to Starbucks / Costa Coffee and drink Coffee with civilised people. Shane really, because apart from that I really enjoyed my stay.
traffic noise from the road
Staff was helpful to provide valuable information to go around, including parking assistance.
Decent room sizes, very clean and excellent shower and bath facility
Lack of parking, make better use of the parking spaces from the offices next to the hotel
Twin room, May as have been a double as the twin beds were only a couple of inches apart.
Central acceptable to the Station.
I didn't like the lounge, bedroom, and the deco, in particular the environment.
I had accidentally booked two rooms. The manager dealt with this promptly and courteously. It felt like nothing was too much trouble for her. This attitude extended to the rest of the staff who were all helpful and charming.
As the station is close by, it was a little noisy.
