In the heart of Leicester, less than 550 yards from the train station, this elegant Victorian town house is now a family-run boutique-style hotel offering free parking and stylish rooms with private...

Small parking area, getting slightly dated
Free WiFi was really good, location right on the inner circle road was good and very easy to find. Even though the hotel was obviously quite busy the noise from inside the hotel was minimal. Really good bathroom and shower.
Lack of parking was an issue and caused bizarre parking by other guests. Food wasn't great, only ate one night as it was very expensive for effectively a tuna baguette with some crisps.
Kind & helpful staff who sorted out a problem with the booking. The value for money is outstanding with a spacious comfortable room. Breakfast was not included but was worth the extra cost.
There was very limited parking and as the hotel is situated right next to the station, it was noisy at night.
The blinds let in too much light would have preferred curtains.
Location Cleanless Friendly staff
No ironing facilities in room
The price was great for a in town hotel , a good sized light room, had a great nights sleep , the staff are very friendly always greeted you when you passed them
The only problem was the very small car park , the staff were as helpfull as possible on that to honest
Helpful staff Clean room, comfortable bed Pleasant breakfast
No toiletries at all in bathroom.
my friend and I liked every thing about the hotel we were very impressed and we will be back and also recommend to any one its central easy to get to town also buses run every 15 mins couldn't be better staff are very friendly and helpful.
Safe, quiet & clean
Location. While it was close to the train station, there was no apparent sign posting, and foyer entry was confusing.
traffic noise from the road
Staff was helpful to provide valuable information to go around, including parking assistance.
Decent room sizes, very clean and excellent shower and bath facility
Lack of parking, make better use of the parking spaces from the offices next to the hotel
Twin room, May as have been a double as the twin beds were only a couple of inches apart.
Central acceptable to the Station.
I didn't like the lounge, bedroom, and the deco, in particular the environment.
I had accidentally booked two rooms. The manager dealt with this promptly and courteously. It felt like nothing was too much trouble for her. This attitude extended to the rest of the staff who were all helpful and charming.
As the station is close by, it was a little noisy.
location was good, the room was ok me & my were happy with it. The shower was good!!!
Didnt like that people got away with making so much noise, early hours of the morning the weekend we were there!!
the staff where nice and very helpful.
Staff were very helpful and polite would definatley stay here again!!
The staff were friendly although some had difficulty understanding English
The grounds to the hotel were littered with empty bottles and carrier bags. The decor was in serious need of an update. The walls were paper thin allowing noise to travel constantly, even late at night. The carpets were absolutely filthy and gave me no confidence in the hygiene of the hotel. Some hotel staff could not speak or understand English. When informing the staff that I wanted a refund and to leave the hotel due to the ridiculous amount of noise, I was informed that this would not be permitted as I had booked through booking.com
big, nice shower room
very poor breakfast for the price of 10 steeling pounds
Really appreciated the air cooling system in the heatwave.
Good location, clean and functional
The location was good for the centre of Leicester.
I had changed my booking from a double to a twin but wasn't very happy to have been given a disabled room without being asked if that was ok first. The bathroom floor was always wet through from the shower which made it very slippery can't see how safe this would be for disabled quests! There was a slight smell of damp!
Free internet these days is a must! The staff were good.
The hotel is surrounded by busy, very noisy roads. The bathroom smelled like sewage. There was no iron in the room ...only one iron for the entire hotel on another floor!!
