Score from 324 reviews Very good
smoothness at check and helpfulness of staff was excellent. Room was spotless and the shower was great.
i cant think of anything negative to say at all.
Lovely hotel, ideal location for what I needed i.e. the De Montfort Hall. Staff pleasant and friendly. I would stay there again for sure without hesitation.
Was told the bar would be open till 3 Am On returning at 1AM 2 night porters just said all was closed and didnt offered no explanation as to why
Nice restaurant area and breakfast buffet was excellent and great value for money. Was very impressed with the staff - our room smelt really bad and they were able to move another room with no fuss.
the hotel decor seems to be very dated and needs a lick of paint and a freshen up.
It was walking distance into town
There is not ample parking and if you don't find a space you have to pay extra to park your car at the station nearby or somewhere else.
cleanliness of all facilaties friendliness of staff
breakfast was a bit weak, its never very good having everything prepared in advance, but what was there was hot and well presented
Straight forward booking in procedure with regard to computer system working.
Came in at lower floor level - no signs to say where to go to get to reception to book in. Went to next floor to what appeared to be the bar area which is also reception. One member of staff serving in the bar area. Waited a while to be able to book in. No privacy for personal details and payment.
location, rooms, staff and food all very good and excellent prices. great for , football, rugby or a night on the town.
Modern with good bar and excellent room and bathroom
Clean & tidy, towels etc provided, clean bedding, nice bathroom (lovely shower), room was decent size, kettle & drink making facility, hair dryer provided, late checkout (later than I've known in other hotels), TV provided, generally very good.
No plugs near the mirror so I had to guess what my hair looked like while I was drying it...cord needed to be longer, or add extra socket near mirror. Air con in bathroom made a humming noise. Pillows were a bit hard/thick.
As above, plus the extreme kindness of the personnel.
I was denied the local Abis tel. No by some operator of the Ibis company in the us (or given the wrong number), after having paid in advance with the Ibis booking and payment confirmation more than a whole month ago!
Comfortable bed, nice hot shower and first rate cooked breakfast within easy walk to station and city centre.
The shower was horrible, hairs from previous guests and disgusting dust from the cheap toilet paper.
Employees very helpful
Nothing to complaint about.
Goid sandwich from the kitchen even at night.
Good central location, within walking distance of the city centre and train station. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Wifi connection was slow. Odour of vomit in the room when window was closed (was open when I arrived). Snacks too expensive (£1.50 for a Twix!!).
I liked that I could still get something to eat and drink quite late in the evening.
There was nothing I did not like. Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant experience.
Good Location - Good value for money - Friendly Satff
Only one bin in Room
Pleasant comfortable room with hair dryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Did its job.
Room was clean and tidy as expected. Not too far from the centre.
Ironing facilities were not available in the room, and were a separate, very high cost that i didn't feel comfortable paying.
No Iron in room Packing Space choking, need more space.
Location and price was great thought the seating area could have been more comfortable instead of it evening like a school dining hall some nice sofas and chairs would have been nice more relaxing I think but very clean and staff great
Thought the room was quite cold over night and bed was a little hard but that a personal preference
Very good location, clean, comfortable room. All you really need, especially for such a low price.
Though they offer a small amount of parking, there isn't really enough. Although this is understandable in a city centre location.
Very friendly on arrival really felt at home with your reception staff.
Parking or lack of it we just got lucky.
