The 24 hour attention provided with courtesy
The wet weather that greeted us and the need to drip dry on entry
Very helpful staff, good bed, good internet
price was a bit high
Staff were always available to help with a smile at all times. Sara even arranged for us to have the room beyond check out time so that we could enjoy our last morning sightseeing.
Quiet and intimate reception area. Pleasant peaceful ambience.
Perhaps some (extra) alternative bedding, weather still a little warm for duvets!
Close to the Southwark tube-station on the Jubilee Line, and walking distance to Tate Modern. Fresh and clean room. Great restaurant that is open the whole day. The breakfast is OK. Friendly staff. The day we were leaving (going to the airport in the afternoon) we got to keep our room till 2pm even though the check out is at 12.
Some noise from the street early in the mornings. Breakfast a little too expensive and the coffee machine seemed to be broken all the time, but oherwise OK.
Position Helpful & friendly staff - prompt service.
Tiny room & bathroom - door doesn't reach the ground
London hotels can be notoriously expensive so this was a pleasant surprise being so close to our destination of The Globe and reasonably priced.
Ibis bathrooms are always a bit strange but that's a minor niggle!
Great location, beds are nice and good breakfast.
The toilets where little bit to small and the door on the toilet did not get all the way to the floor.
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Very quiet on our floor, slept well
Wifi didn't work very well for us
Proximity to metro. Easy commute to the airport. The service was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable.
When I arrived your credit card system was down but the staff gave me a room to freshen up in as I was rushing off to a show and I paid and was given a room card on my return. Mylene stood out as extra helpful giving me a late check out so I could attend St Pauls Church Service
The convenient location, easy accessibility to tube stations and mainline station, relatively easy walking to South Bank attractions, the handy pub just across the road and very important, a quiet room which meant a good night's sleep
The long queue for breakfast
So far, the best Ibis I've been to. Breakfast is very good (compared to other Ibis) and the hall is very comfortable.
Only one towel available in the room.
My wife was surprised when she found out that it was a budget hotel. All the staff were very helpful. We liked the modern furniture. Breakfast was as good as or better than Four-star.
Close to underground station
simple pod. easy access to large shower. no messy tiles. good hard bed
owing to the laminate flooring the bed moves when you are sitting up reading
The location was good, an easy walk to central places of interest, the rooms were clean and comfortable with the restaurant having reasonable prices. On the night I dined there the food was excellent.
The walls were thin and I had noisy occupants next door for a while on one night. I could also hear next doors shower every time it was used and every time it dripped which was quite frequent. This was only a small issue and didn't bother me too much, just a little annoying.
if you have a plan to travel London, I would highly recommend this hotel. You can get many famous tourist attractions by foot without spending money on the public transportation. I was touched by the cleaning staff who hung the towels on my doorknob everyday I stayed. Wifi was all right. You can use computer and printer at foyer for free which would be really good for those who don't bring their laptop.
nothing much..Tesco express was very close though couldn't find the marks and spencer near the hotel..? that's all I didn't like
Very good location, clean hotel.
Rooms little bit small
staff location cleanliness wi-fi was good
bathroom miss security box
Location Excellent staff Breakfast Clean room
Wifi runs up to 512 kbps unless you pay They charge for the power supply adaptor
Nice and safe area, clean hotel and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
This hotel is situated within the same block as the Southwark tube station making for easy access to the rest of London. It is also within walking distance from the Imperial War Museum, Tate Modern, and Shakespeare’s Globe.
Room was a decent size and the staff was helpful. It was very difficult to sit at the bar, though, and at the one breakfast (not included) I had at the hotel the eggs looked to be very overcooked.
It was a fantastic hotel we were made welcome by all staff and helpful I would recommend everyone to your hotel
Perfectly located: Tube around the corner. Close to Tate Modern and nice Borough Market. Quiet room.
Room was a litlle smaller than expected.
