The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very polite on our arrival, giving us the information we needed for our stay.
I didn't like that where our room was situated, it was straight across the road from a club and the music kept me and my partner from sleeping till 4am in the morning. Giving that it states in a leaflet in the room that the windows were sound proof I find this to be very false.
A nice clean hotel wit friendly welcoming staff.
The chair in my room was hard. I did a lot of desk work. A cushion or a padded chair would solve the problem.
Noise from the Student Nightclub that only stopped at 2am ish. Lucky I was drunk.
There was a hair left in the shower tray and the bed was so uncomfortable we both had no sleep at all there were yellow stains on the walls.
It was within easy walking distance of Picadilly Train station, the bus/coach station and the city centre. The room was adequate for a couple of nights stay, very compact.
We were staying on a Friday night, there was lots of noise until very late at night from the street below with people attending the many bars/clubs on the street and nearby area. Thankfully we had ear plugs otherwise it would have been difficult to sleep.
People at the front desk were always willing to help!
Saturday night with an enormous club catering for the gay crowd across the street. At what seemed like 3am I awoke to what sounded like a full riot outside the hotel - a little scary. (I guess it was just 'chucking out' time at the club.)
No toilet brush, and the toilet doesn't get cleaned? Shower doors producing cracking noise and you are just waiting for them to break? Free wi-fi speed cheeky slow, almost not available, one email download a couple of minutes?
Non sound proof rooms Mattress
Unclear on booking which hotel we were staying at. Walked out of our way to princess St and then had to go back to hotel booked
location, just off oxford road. good parking opposite the hotel. comfortable beds. good wi fi
very noisy,we were on the 6th floor and the road noise came through the double glazing
Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, easy check in and can leave luggage in hotel before actually booking in ....
Maybe offer a bed and breakfast deal ....It just seems when I look at booking site's breakfast is a option .....Not everyone who books B/B actually takes up the offer...
Location is very good
Reception on duty that day was not very helpful, but rude.
Receptionist on duty when we arrived oct 7- around 15:00
Friendly staff, willing to help with anything. Comfortable room with very nice and clean bathroom. Location close to the University of Manchester but also 10min walk fom the centre!
Good wifi Convenient for city centre
Limited character - just like the ibis I was in in Munich
Bed was comfy, room clean. Good choice at breakfast. Very handy for Oxford RD Railway Station, Palace Theatre and Car Parking.
We had a room over looking a student night club. the noise was horrendous until 3:30 in the morning.
5 min to Canal Street 5 min to train station 10-15 min to the inner city 25-30min to Manchester Arena so everything is quite easy to reach by walk
The location is great its very central and you are in walking distance from some great spots.
We ended up having to move to a different room on our second night, the air conditioner nearly fell off the wall. I think it was the manager who was quite helpful, when we arrived we where not aware that we would need the card we booked with as all of our rooms had been paid for in advance. the lady we dealt with was quite helpful. However when my friends tried to book in they dealt with a different person who was very unhelpful. The hotel was the cheapest we could get and it still was not that cheap considering the quality is very low.
Basic for price of room. lots of people congregating outside hotel on our return from night out very disconcerting.
Stains on carpet, noise from location, charges for wi-fi
Only for to have it as pit stop...not for long stay
Clean Good location for Manchester City Centre Secure Friendly
Room heating controls One towel hidden away from the 2 people in the room

Fantastic weekend, great location, very helpful staff
Location was ideal we were going to see Jersey boys at the palace and excellent value for money
Every was spot on
