Great location. Very easy access to the train station and it is right in front of the Lace Market tram station. Shops and bars nearby yet very quiet at night (my room faced the back). I like the cleanlinesses of the room and shower. The hot and powerful shower is the best thing in the room.

The bed isn't very comfortable because of the thin mattress topper above the mattress. I didn't sleep too well. I had a twin room for myself and the single bed must be narrower than a standard single. I am slim myself yet find the bed too small.

BBC1 and BBC2 could not be received on the TV, the air con unit was dripping (didnt spot this until I was in bed) and so had to use a towel to catch the drips and stop the water torture noise!!

Food awful - cut open from a sachet and microwaved in front of me, then charged £10 for the privilege. Eat elsewhere.

Rooms were a little cramped

The location was great and discounted parking in public car park opposite was a bonus. Good value for money for the room.

Room was small and basic. Buzzing noise from tram line through the night was annoying. Breakfast was very disappointing with no organisation. Bread had mould in the centre and bacon was burnt and hard. One member of staff dealing with guests, clearing, washing up at the same time. When told her about bread she just removed it.

The hotel is in a fab location for events at the Arena. Have stayed there twice now due to the first concert being cancelled. Both stays were enjoyable. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have everything you need. The 24hr bar and food service is a really good idea too and we took advantage of this.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel.

the keycards never worked which are used for room and lift. kept getting them reset not really ideal getting in after a night out! they said to keep it away from your phone or credit cards which i did the best i could but never had that problem anywhere else. big problem as it happened to me both times i stayed

Comfortable, value for money, good location.

Was advertised as 24 hour bar however we purchased a round of drinks and food after returning from a concert we went to purchase another drink and was told we could not be served alcohol due to being noisy, it turns out other people in the hotel were a bit noisy and staff decided not to serve anyone, this was extremely unfair and on principle I would not stay a thi hotel again.

Convenient location

The big dirty stain on the carpet in room 503 and the constant smell of sewage. Staff were a little hard to communicate with they didn't understand what we were trying to ask and one girl wasn't very friendly, a bit abrupt.

Great for the Capital FM Arena.

Location, reception staff were approachable

The push up plug in our sink would not lift so could not drain out dirty water, not hygienic and was not able to be fixed during our stay. Sound minor but was a big problem in the morning. While we were in reception the fire brigade arrived to free the trapped people in the lift. The fireman told staff this was the second call in 5 days and was not acceptable. We never used the lift after that, were on the 4th floor and were not happy, especially when carrying our bags down the stairs.
