Low price and though basic the room was a decent size and had functioning free wifi and all the facilities required like coffee making, good shower over a bath, plenty of tv channels, etc. Described on booking.com as "shared bathroom" which fortunately wasn't the case.
Hotel near a busy road and the windows didn't keep out that much of the noise. Also since all the rooms are in outdoor blocks and the doors lead onto outside corridor's you'd never want to open the curtains because other guests peer right in as they walk past! Finally the pillows on the bed were extremely firm which isn't to my taste, and the extras in the wardrobe were exactly the same.
Clean, friendly and very cheap stay. Nowhere near city centre but ideal for a short stay. Food in restaurant was nice too.
The comfy bed good restaurant and free WiFi
The bed was lovely
The Walls were very thin so got woken up by other guests
Perfect for our needs.
Hotel is well located for getting around to outskirts of city and reasonable for going into town. Staff friendly. Facilities basic but adequate.
The staff are always friendly, say hello and smile... I had a problem locking my door which they sorted straight away going out of their normal routine to help. Carlos always greets me by my name when I arrive. Thank you.
Fair price, bar available, helpful staff, comfortable bed.
Very noisy road nearby, not ideal before an interview as it disrupted sleep even in early hours. (Not that they can do much about it I suppose... double glazing?)
very expensive bar drinks
It was all very nice no problems at all.
Everything except the pillow.
The pillows - try one out - they were like bricks!
Meal staff and service where fine.
The noise from outside kept me awake which will stop me from using the hotel in future.
bed room wifi
parking a bit tight
That the rooms had their own door leading outside .. Ideal for a smoker
Rooms are basic & in need of refurbishment
For a minimal price we had a very warm room on the coldest of January nights. Staff were absolutely charming and we were able to book-in at Midday. Practically on the A38 ten minutes from City Centre. Huge Superstore with restaurant and separate hot food takeaway counter three minutes drive away. Hotel bar open until midnight
Restaurant temperature was cool as was the food - menu limited, otherwise nothing of note
Every thing was very good convienent to main routes to the city. restaurant was very good and the quality of food available.
My stay whould have been more comfortable if there was a more comfortable chair than a tatty old schoolroom hard plastic chair to sit on
Value , friendly staff , easy to bring our dog , Thankyou
No negatives at all .Myself and my partner were down visiting friends fur the weekend and we would stay here again. The room was lovely and warm, clean, fab comfy king size bed, lovely staff
It was warm, the man on reception was helpful and it was two minutes from where I needed to be
Bed comfy but pillows were a bit hard for me
All was good, no issues.
They could do with a paint job and new curtains
