Friendly staff, prompt service.
Very nice value for money
Pleasant and attractive reception/restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable accomodation with all mod cons including bath.
Cannot understand why hotels have mirrors that are nowhere near sockets for hairdryers etc! There seems to be a conspiracy
Lots of free parking, comfy beds, chalet style
Sound proofing between rooms
Restaurant available, good parking area, breakfast was good too.
Awful portacabin style rooms not in the main building. Bit expensive for what it was.
The breakfast was excellent
Walls a bit thin in the rooms
The minute we arrived we were looked after by a very helpful young man got bus into town great service. Room very clean quiet and great bed got a good night sleep breakfast was very good and the decor and surroundings of the hotel were pleasant staff very helpful would recommend this hotel also good value for money
Although the hotel is out of the city it's in the perfect place for travelling around Devon and Cornwall! The staff were all friendly and very helpful, the room was nice, clean and comfy and the breakfast was lovely!
proximity to ferry port &A38 route
Separate buliding & steep stairs access to reception from car park.
Located just off the A38 it's easy to find, clean efficient and friendly hotel. Rooms are basic with tea making equipment, and a comfortable bed.Cheap but good all round hotel.
Lack of power sockets.
The privacy that once checked in there was nothing else to worry about. eg having to walk through a reception area each time you went to your room.It was lovely to just come and go as we pleased The room was comfy clean and all we needed
Nothing everything was fine
The comfort and cleanliness of the room. Friendly staff
The road noise from the nearby motorway. which meant i could not open the window at night
It was relatively inexpensive, plenty of parking. Comfortable mattress and good sized bed. Room included generous desk.
Small poky room. Totally lacking in ventilation. No air conditioning, very very noisy on the road facing side (S facing) of the building. Possibly the other side would be ok. In warmer weather due to inadequate ventilation or airco, window could be opened but noisy from A38 close to major roundabout was unbearable.
Nice and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds which meant we had a very good nights sleep.
The bed was comfortable
Tired holiday camp style accommodation, dated bathroom, shower tile grout was dirty, for the price with no breakfast included, was poor value for money compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Waited over 15 mins to book in whilst only staff member served bar customers over us as we waited.
We were in a quiet room facing the rear.
That is was comfortable and staff were very welcoming.
On the whole I had a lovely stay and slept very well loved the new bed topper I need one for myself. Tea and coffee refreshed every day. I was surprised how peaceful it was at night as it faced a busy road. So glad I had a ground floor room as I have difficulty walking and going up stair is a problem for me. Loved the chalet style and the hanging baskets outside. Yes I would stay there again.
Cleaning the floor could have been better one side of the toilet floor by the wall was sticky Under the desk in the bedroom I saw dust and a hair pin. They only seemed to clean in a circle and leaving the corners dirty, but I have seem a lot worse at some places I have stayed.
The room was spacious and location good. Within walking distance of a bus stop.
Bed very comfortable Good shower
Room rather small Decor seen better days
The bed was lovely and comfortable the bathroom sink was new as was the toilet and floor. The staff were all super friendly. A real credit to the hotel.
There were dead bugs on the vanity unit. The plugs were impractically placed. The duvet cover had a dirty mark on it - sticky not sure what it was. The tiles in the bathroom dirty and the shower curtain was pink/orange (a sign of body fat) it needed replacing with a clean one. This prevented us from showering. I asked for a room away from the road and got a roadside room. The rooms were very hot with no fans and the wifi kept crashing. I rated excellent value as I had booked in January therefore got a heavily discounted room.
this is a typical Ibis Hotel, not comparable in atmosphere to a B&B, but nevertheless large rooms / bathroom, clean, quiet (room towards garden) all amenities, comfortable, WiFi works, good restaurant, very great room rate
absolutely nothing to complain about; Location outside of town in a sterile business park
Not signposted very clearly from the road
Very friendly staff always polite and helpful. Very clean.
rooms hot and stuffy,no air conditioning
