Every thing was very good convienent to main routes to the city. restaurant was very good and the quality of food available.
My stay whould have been more comfortable if there was a more comfortable chair than a tatty old schoolroom hard plastic chair to sit on
Value , friendly staff , easy to bring our dog , Thankyou
No negatives at all .Myself and my partner were down visiting friends fur the weekend and we would stay here again. The room was lovely and warm, clean, fab comfy king size bed, lovely staff
It was warm, the man on reception was helpful and it was two minutes from where I needed to be
Bed comfy but pillows were a bit hard for me
All was good, no issues.
They could do with a paint job and new curtains
Value for money
Warm welcome and value for money. Also the location is good if you do not want the hassle of city motoring.
Absolutely no dislikes.
The location was perfect for us as our daughter lives in Keyham, so we were only 10mins away, it was far enough from the city centre so there was no noise, being so close to the A38 was a bonus as this made travelling around the area easy
Stayed for 10 nights and it was fairly comfortable. Room was clean and warm, (doors lead directly outside so I was a little worried.) shower was ok, not a power shower but reasonable. Staff were friendly. Food available 24-7. Wifi wasn't fast and dropped out, but is free and does the necessary. And it reached my room, not just the main reception building.
I was due to pay at the end of my stay, but my card was charged after the first week. Not a problem but I'd rather have known! Key regularly wouldn't work (50% of the time) so I had to keep getting reception to fix it and was given a different excuse every time. Food too expensive for a budget hotel
Comfortable bed, lovely hot water.
Very noisey, due to being near A38. Not enough milk
Location for city, without being crowded.
Slow internet connection.
Room cost £38 on New Year's Eve! Very close to house of friends we were visiting and just off main A road. Slept well, bed comfy.
I had booked a room for my son and partner for Xmas they travel led that day from Scotland took them to ibis and the first room was small dirty only 1 light working no hot water and the heater hanging off the wall also stains on mattress The second room given after complaint was a little better although the bath had hairs in it and there was a terrible Draft coming from under front door what finally finished it for Them was white powder sprinkled under the bed. They phoned me extremely concerned and s they are both disabled they really got upset about this I had no other choice but to drive to the hotel at 1am that same night and take them to my already cramped house.even though I received a full refund Xmas was really spoilt for us all actually the rooms and the whole buildind is looking tired and worn I certainly would not recommended anyone stay here Her The
Water kept going cold lucky if u could shoer
Easy checkin, with lots of useful information provided, without having to ask. Breakfast was hot, and fast. Room was clean, warm and had a large comfortable bed. Good TV and plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc.
Breakfast was a little limited on choice, just scrambled egg, no options like fried or boiled. Sausages were not edible. Although room was comfortable, very sterile, no pictures or any colour. Would not like to stay more than one night, too depressing. As room is entered direct from an open balcony, they have fitted a second inner door and hall to keep the heat in, great, however, there not enough room to get in without opening both doors, defeating the object, and there is a large un-curtained window in this hall, overlooking the bed, so no additional privacy by having the second door.
If you bear in mind this particular hotel is a budget hotel it is perfect quality for the money. The room was perfectly warm and the bed was very comfortable although it felt a little firm initially. It was possible to park right outside the door of our room (it has motel style accommodation) which personally I found very convenient. The bath is a small size so don't go for a soiak, but the shower was lovely and hot and powerful.
As we live very rurally, with absolutely no traffic sounds at all, I was a little shocked at how noisy the A38 is, but to be honest, as we were tired we fell asleep easily enough and the traffic certainly did not disturb us, however if you are bothered about that sort of thing, this is not the place to stay.
Great location, clean, comfortable and friendly staff
day staff were professional, friendly and excellent
night staff - Michael - rude and arrogant
The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, we had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the staff were very helpful and polite.
You have friendly staff. The room was nice and clean.
They changed our room from a normal to disabled room as my mother was poorly.
