Score from 416 reviews Good
The best thing about this hotel is your staff. Reception, Bar Cleaners all have time for the guest, and do there work with a smile. It was a pleasure to stay there.
The room I was in could do with a make over, but having said that it was clean and comfortable.
We were told that check out was mid-day. That sounded good. We out the night before and got in the early hours of the morning, hoping to get up around 10.30. To my horror, the door knocked at 08.40 and not only upset my sleep pattern, but spoilt my day, due to the lack of sleep :-(
Room & settings. Secure Parking. City Centre.
The Bed was very hard, probably should have been softer.
All of it
Paying to store my suitcase
The location is excellent near the city center and near the university. The restaurant was very nice. The breakfast was excellent.
Very comfortable beds.Good shower.Everthing looked nice and clean.
Hairdryer not great.
Whilst the room was compact and bijou, the bed was massive and very comfortable. Hotel was clean and modern. Position great.
Whilst in very convenient location the downside is traffic noise, maybe some better glazing?
Breakfast , laid back staff, very small room/bathroom
Secure car park
Small bathroom - not enough room to use toilet or shower comfortably. Hardly any room to store clothes. Solid scrambled egg at breakfast both days we stayed, and no fried egg available.
I liked the breakfast. Which was excellent. I liked the postion of the hotel. I liked the staff. The only thing I didn't like was people outside and away from the hotel waking me up by having a mini riot at 2.30 am. This is something that is not the hotels fault, but was obviously some"dump" turning out, and could be a factor in not using the hotel again for some people. Unfortunately, its beyond your control. All in all a superb hotel. Thank you.
bed was very comfy :)
Room was very small and so was bathroom
Lounge area, reception, location, wi fi access.
Room was very small and the en suite was difficult to turn around in.
Reception and entrance lobby. Clean rooms Secure parking Location
All of it
Extremely cramped and the distance between the bed and the wall was impossible to get down. The carpet had not been cleaned there for months
Bed very comfortable
We had stayed here in February and wanted same room, but did not take note of the room. Sent E. mail requesting same room, sorted. Staff helpful required another pillow sorted straight away. None of this we will sort it in a minute. nothing to much trouble
The food menu. the only English meal. Fish and chips.
Peace and quite most of the time
Bitter was poor small toilets and wardrobesace when staying a few days thankfully I was on my own as it would of been to small
Staff were good and friendly
The room needs refurb And too expensive
The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the general areas of the hotel were comfortable.
Our room was very small and the bathroom was ridiculously small. The shower was useless, you either were scoulded or frozen. The room was extremely hot, the weather not being overly warm during our stay. We are not big people, but would like to know how larger people would have coped. We tried an Ibis as we always stay in the competitors hotels, i.e. Travel Inn and Premier Inn. We will not be using an Ibis again.
Location was good. Friendly staff. Soft big comfortable bed. when we returned each evening, the room was tidy and cleaned.
There was no bin in the room. Bathroom was very tiny and it could only accommodate one person at a time. And my hands kept hitting something or the other in the bathroom.
Location Price Staff Ease of Parking
A very tiny bathroom
Good location esp. if you have a car. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Parking appeared limited; I was able to find street parking on the street behind the hotel.
