Very good,
Score from 441 reviews
“ It did tick all the boxes!! Good price and unlike most other budget hotels I have stayed in, it also had the facilities and was bang central to all facilities in Reading. Staff very pleasant, Breakfast lovely and plentiful. Ibis one of the better hotel groups I have used, Take note some of you higher end hotels who charge the earth for the same as ibis provide!! Well done x ”

Position, clean smart and friendly hotel Don't go over 24 hours in the recommended car park, or you pay full price £20 instead of £7. We were told we'd be ok by reception.

Friendly staff I didn´t like that there were clear cigaret burn marks on the windowpain in a non smokers room. Makes what is actually a nice and clean room, look really shabby.

Comfortable, large bed, reasonable bathroom as budget hotels go. No free wireless (available with drinks at the bar, but that's not ideal for calling home). There is an odd bizarre defect in the shower doors: clothing on the wall peg right beside it gets thoroughly wet. This might be easy to fix.

For a business traveller, the location is ideal for a late arrival and an overnight stay. What you expecet is a decent bed and a functioning shower (which still is not a self-evident thing in the uk). The ambience is austere, but there was even a chair and a desk for my laptop. The wifi did not work in my room. While arriving I spotted a man sitting on the fire exit stairs with his laptop, so the signal may be weak in other rooms too.
