The room was quiet, and comfortable. The room did not have a hairdryer, and was not told that these were held at reception. |

Near the station and shops. That really is all it has going for it! The staff are fairly friendly, but the place seems very run down. The foyer is the only area where there is any sparkle but beyond that ------ Very noisy at night. Basic facilities such as 1 pillow for 2 people (and that was really smelly/musty), and only 1 towel each! Even the basic b & Bs offer a cooked breakfast within the sort of price we were charged, and all the ones I have visited have a hair dryer and generally a bath and hand towel each. Not the Ibis! There were still a couple of beer glasses in the room from the previous occupants - not nice. The tea and coffee facility consisted of 2 teabags and coffees and 4 milks. As we had booked for 2 days ( actually 4 days in all with the return trip), that seemed a bit mean. We did not complain, so please see these comments as constructive. |

The location, a minute's walk from the train station and town centre. The room had all the amenities to be desired, including a large writing desk and very good cable Internet connection. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. Both my room and all public areas of the hotel was kept i´mpeccably neat and clean. The bed was rather hard. The semi-full English breakfast at £6,95 was rather basic; there are lots of cafés in Reading serving cheaper alternatives, though. This hotel does not offer smoking bed rooms!!! |

Room was nicely designed and room facilities were properly arranged and clean. Room entertainment facilities were not available. Few entertainment TV channels should be added free of cost. |

It was clean The room was not very comfortable. The website was misleading about the wireless. There was no free internet in the hotel and they charged a considerable amount for internet access. The staff was not terribly helpful or friendly. |

Nice hotel, very clean, big room for UK standards and we were at the 14th floor! so we had a nice view of the city. 24h food service. The proximity to the station, just 3 mins. RECOMMENDED The window didn't open whole.. |

not much positive to say about this hotel at all. The rooms were clean Receptionist rude on check in and we were given a different room than the type booked. When I complained about this this following morning again they clearly didnt care and we not willing to do anything about it. Would not stay here again |

Ability to book by public computer from Arlanda airport and to receive immediate confirmation. I also like proximity to Reading station. I have to make difficult journey from HTR5 to West Wales A selfish point. I should have liked breakfast to have started 6.15 but since I was the only person eating at 6.30 this might be an unreasonable request. This is not a complaint. |

Excellent breakfast, great value for money. Large clean and comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Great location for the train station (2 minutes walking distance!). Bed only had one very flat pillow each. However, I'm sure if we had asked for more pillows they would have provided them. |
