On the outskirts of the historic market town of Rugby, less than 2 miles from the very center of town, the hotel offers ree parking and spacious, modern rooms with private bathrooms.
Score from 103 reviews Very good
Situated by Drayton Water, in picturesque Northamptonshire, this spacious modern hotel is set in its own grounds.
Score from 188 reviews Good
In the town of Lutterworth, The Greyhound Coaching Inn is a charming 18th century hotel with a welcoming atmosphere.
Score from 109 reviews Very good
Just 1.5 miles from highway M1 (exit 16) and only 4 miles from central Northampton, the hotel offers free parking, a Beefeater restaurant and comfortable, affordable rooms.
Score from 93 reviews Very good
The room was fine , clean and comfortable bed and the location is good for the motorways.
The bar area is small and very badly managed, poor service and lack of staff. the restaurant has a very limited choice.
Banging off doors early hours
Cheap. Very close to the M1
Very noisy work going on right under the room window. No blinds in room, just ineffective curtains, so no sleep after it gets light.
Easy to find, and simple setup, everything practical was there and you didn't feel like you were obliged to use everything. Very friendly!
everything was good ,nothing to dislike
Good location, room was clean and comfortable. Nice large car park.
Paid for breakfast but the quality and quantity was very poor. The hotel could not seem to cater for the quantity of people in the restaurant. I wish I had gone to a nearby cafe for breakfast instead.
Overall very good, excellent value for money.
The food was top notch
The room was to hot at night that's with the window wide open
Close to Silverstone but far enough away to get a decent rate when there is a big event on. Large selection for breakfast - hot plate and cold buffet style. Free WiFi. Large parking area Quite location
The staff appeared to be less that impressed when a couple informed them they had been stuck in the lift for 20 minutes and warned them that there was an issue and may want to put up a sign to say out of order.
nice big rooms, clean and free wifi
restaurant/bar area too small and could not cater for all of the residents. we got stuck in the lift for 10mins and no apology or concern raised and it is a very small lift with 4 people in it was very hot and no one was on reception as it was breakfast time to answer the emergency call button in the lift.
Lots of car parking spaces, convenient location, friendly reception staff and dining staff. Comfortable beds. Breakfast OK for money.
Some difficulty in finding hotel, a sign at roadside would be helpful. Small cobwebs in bedroom.
Wifi although available free in rooms reception and speed were very poor
Handy location close to the motorway, excellent value for money
Great value for the money. Staff went above and beyond what was called for.
Evening meal was excellent
Breakfast really let it down, very poor!
Room very clean comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff friendly and helpful
Ran out of food at breakfast took too long to replace items so only had half a breakfast
3rd hotel we stayed in and the cheapest in the last seven days and by far the best
Fuss-free, relaxed atmosphere. Really comfortable bed. Sparkling bathroom with foolproof shower controls. Good variety of breakfast items to choose exactly what you like from.
You can't put a hotel in a 24 hour business park at the junction of the M1 and the A5 without some traffic noise, but this wasn't at all intrusive once the windows were closed.
The location of the hotel is adjacent to the M1, so for my purpose was excellent . No big detour to find hotel. Everything was fine, and very good for what would be classed as a budget hotel. excellent buffet breakfast, with just about everything you could wish for at a reasonable price
Staff were polite and very helpful. Bed is very comfortable and rooms clean.Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Location was great for us.
Although bedroom clean it had a fusty smell(maybe hoover bag needs emptying?) The bar area floor was sticky underfoot and the tables to eat breakfast were also sticky to the touch.
The young girl at reception helped me with my mobile phone and set up wifi fott me.the rooms were very clean.
Music and television in the bar on at the same time was hard to talk to my husband.barstaff did turn t.v. when I asked.
Nice exterior and interior.
1) Unprofessional and incompetent staff at reception. Took ages to serve gentlemen before us and even longer to serve us. Instead of simple check-in procedure, receptionist was torturing us with stupid questions, was unable to explain properly what she was talking about, made a problem and was unable to resolve it and apologise. I'm still well annoyed and unhappy. 2) Intermittent lift work. Hotel's staff told us, that they're unable to fix it for a week. We had to avoid to use it just in case. 3) Pile of dirty cups and glasses on the floor in the corridor, were there when we checked in and stay there when we checked out. 4) The odours from ground floor restaurant were quite an issue until late evening. 5) Air conditioning was not mentioned, so no questions about it. But it is a common practice to put small vent in the toilet and power it on with lights or on demand. There was no air movement whatsoever, thus we were unable to sleep all night, even though the beds were ok.
Modern, clean and fresh looking interior. Comfortable bed.
The food at breakfeast was cold,
From the moment we walked in everything was brilliant, the receptionist was very polite making us feel very welcome. The room was excellent with the tea & coffee making facilities, the bed was so comfortable with plenty of extra pillows should they have been needed. Plenty of space for the 2 of us & the room was perfect for us as was the restaurant with an excellent selection of meals available. We would definatly stay there again if we go back to Northamptonshire & would certainly not hesitate to recommend this Hotel.
There was absolutley nothing to dislike.
Rooms spacious, very clean, walk in shower, nice beverage tray, good wifi and comfortable beds
Bar - restaurant, ordered a sandwich with an exotic name - came out dried up and sad- waiter must have been other wise occupied as half an hour had pasted and still no sandwich and there was only one other customer - however I did complain to the receptionist on departure who was not sympathetic but I did receive an email from the manager who is going to refund the cost of the disgusting sandwich. They have at least redeemed themselves so hopefully learn from their mistakes - tip forget the fancy names for food and just serve up tasty normal snacks.
