The convenience of its placement just off the motor way but really quite. Lovely shower and a nice large room to move about in was just perfect. Being elderly on returning in the evening we could never unlock the door, thanks to helpful staff we now know don't put the key near the mobile phone.
Being disable we were downstairs which was great. BUT there was no air circulating due to locked window so became very stuffing and hot and we did have the heating off.
Everything! Having stayed at the Ibis previously I did not hesitate to book with them again! Very comfortable beds, with an extra pillow provided if needed, tea or coffee in the room on arrival very much appreciated. The only thing that I found confusing was the Wi-Fi. Although the Ibis offers free Wi-Fi I found it difficult to down load an audio book and connect to their Wi-Fi however that could have been my fault and had I spoken to reception at the time I am sure they would have resolved the problem for me straight away. That having been said, I would not hesitate to stay at the Ibis again, excellent value for money and very friendly staff, the breakfast choice is second to none!
There was NOTHING that we didn't like!
Excellent location with a good pub over the road.
There was a lot of noise from other guests in the corridor.
The carpet was dirty, there was white stuff speckling the carpet and down the side of my bed a big red stain and more white stuff. Looked like food of some description, hopefully not blood! Also the shower was stained and the shower gel receptacle had seen better days and was virtually empty.
Loved the comfortable bed c
Hated the dreadful poor quality soap. Let me introduce you to some top quality products at mid ticket prices which will wow your guests!!
Big clean rooms -
The price The beds The staff The location The WiFi It is clean
The room décor is basic. if you are at the back the noise from the road can be load but stops about 10:30
Location was great for Sheffield and Derbyshire and if course very handy for the M1 motorway. Some good facilities nearby.
Great place. When we checked in, the wife could hear a continuous noise which she wasnt happy about in our room. She contacted reception who moved us straight away. They were very helpful and friendly the whole stay.
Honestly if im being picky the wifi was a pain sometimes. That was all! Cant recommened it enough. Great place.
booked twin room(10 days in advance )myself and my 17 yr old son, on arrival found was booked in to a double bed not pleased !!! spoke to staff who explained no other rooms available had to sleep in same bed as teenage son would appreciate some explanation and apology
Staff very friendly and helpful Room clean and warm, shower great, beds very comfortable. Breakfast options good. Good parking. Overall a very relaxing stay.
We wanted somewhere economical, easy to get to and leave from for the south, after meeting our relatives from Australia briefly staying in Sheffield. The hotel fitted the bill perfectly.
Directions and Satnav postcode don't bring you to the hotel and it can take a bit of finding in the dark after driving 300 miles!
Price. Location. Standard of hotel

Recently replaced the beds and they are 100% better than the old ones. Breakfast was also excellent!

Restaurant and bar on site. Staff were really nice and couldn't be more helpful. Excellent breakfast from very early. Five mins from M1 junction.
Rooms comfortable and quiet enough. Very cheap, get what you pay for.
WiFi useless, bar very expensive.

So close to m'way, yet quiet. Comfortable, clean room with excellent shower. Friendly ,helpful staff. Carvery pub next door. Good free coffee ad lib. Very reasonable price. Excellent breakfast choices.
Rumbling water pipes next door on our second visit.
Lovely room, good parking. Wifi, TV, coffee/tea making facilities. Choice of places to eat nearby.
Easy access to M1 and NT properties.
Courteous and very helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean and warm with the biggest double bed I've ever seen. Human sized bathroom with a good shower.
No plug sockets near the bed. There is an option for a shower mat but I feel this should have been included.
