Good shower Car park charge - inefficient check-in/out staff (took ages) - poor breakfast - in the middle of a commercial centre with shocking views - small room: next time I will pay the extra and go back to the holiday inn |

The hotel was very disapointing in virtually every way. The staff were unfriendly and slow to assist. Upon first glance, the room looked good but as it turned out the bed comprised a very thin mattress situated on a wooden board (table like structure), a window was broken and the bathroom smelled of damp and was very poorly cleaned each day. The towels provided were hand towels only. I was in a non smoking room which must have been situated above or very near to a smoking room, as the smell of smoke was strong through the tiny working window. I would never stay in this place again, especially as it is situated among other better hotels. No value for money at all!!! |

If we had been charged normal rates for this hotel £70ish we would have thought it fair value but because of boat show w/e we were charge £160 which was £20 more than the advertised top event rate- we felt ripped off. |

Parking is secure and easy. It is possible to walk to most of the city centre from the hotel. I thought the rooms were well sound proofed, I heard no noise at all. |

The breakfast was very good. The Reception staff were very helpful. The Baggage Room where I could leave my overnight bag and collect later is an excellent idea. The machine coffee at breakfast was awful. The bathroom could have been more inviting to use. The room was basic. |

Close to city centre. Late breakfast (after 10 a.m.) with croissants, jams and coffee. The room was very small. Expensive internet connection @ 5 GBP/hr. The bathroom was not very clean - needs renovation. |
