staff made me welcome on arrival and always helpful during my stay, room and bed were excellent, i was lucky to book when offers were on. i was visiting family and friends before Christmas, and managed to do all i wanted to do.
all good for me
overall an enjoyable stay and location, would recommend.
bar closed early
Arrived 930am asked about car parking ticket but was given my room entry staff vibes are quite laid back but efficient good quality breakfast clean bed and room what more do you need
walkable from train station, close to west quay shopping centre and food outlets, easy check in/out,comfy rooms, very quiet
Breakfast was good
Hall carpets were a bit grubby
The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The bedroom was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. It an ideal location too for the docks which was where we were heading to join our cruise
Location Cleanliness Parking outside Nice hot shower
Some of Staff were a little offhand on arrival. Fire Alarm went off in middle of the night for no reason but then found it hard to go back to sleep Parking a little expensive per day No small towels provided in room
Problem with the wifi connection
very clean and the shower really good
was a bit noisy and a lot of draughts due to window not closing well.
The location of the hotel is great, from the moment you get out of the train station you can see the hotel, therefore making it very easy to walk there. It is also nearby the city centre (~10 minute walk at most). As it is located on a kind of industrial area, there are lots of fast-food chains (with drive-throughs) nearby. It is therefore also not necessary at all to make use of the 7-8£ breakfast.
The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, causing me to make use of my 3/4G phone network instead. The heater was also not working, making the room quite chilly in the evening.
The accommodation was very clean and although the the rooms were on the small side they were perfectly adequate for a short stay of a night or two. The breakfast was not bad at all for the price. The bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. The location was very good, close to shops and restaurants.
Nothing to speak off
The exorbitant cost of getting a cup of tea from the same machine used for breakfast in the reception area during the evening.
Very clean helpfull friendly staff good location everything you needed in your room.
Central and easy to get to city centre and theatre. Sparkling clean. Great value. The chap on reception was uber quick at checking us in and out. Check in at 12, check out at 12 much more convenient than usual 3pm check in and 10am check out. Especially useful with a hangover....
drinks at the bar much too expensive.
parking charge, booked 2 rooms, they checked all members into the same room.
cleanliness of all areas friendly helpful staff good value for money good location
car parking fees
the curtains did not close properly and did not block out the light found it very annoying.
Perfect for a short stay, excellent value for money.
Food could be better
The hotel was reasonably priced, central, clean and staff were all very polite and helpful. Definately value for money
beds comfortable 5 mins walk to train station (once you know the way)
too warm in room. could not adjust temperature downwards and fan too loud at night. no bin in bedroom so you have to take all your rubbish eg when making tea to the bathroom. difficult to find from train station as not obvious how to get there on foot.
Location was great, only a five minute walk into the shopping centre.
Staff excluding one were polite and courteous, the blonde chamber maid made no effort to offer any kind of greeting and didn't smile throughout our whole trip - nevermind worse things happen at sea!
Room good size for my use Friendly staff
internet connection kept breaking
Stayed one night before cruise. Short walk from railway station and convenient for port. Very friendly lady served our meal in the restaurant.
Near to Train station so easy to travel to/from Airport or nearby towns for shopping etc. Around the corner from Mayflower Theatre and within walking distance of West Quay, Marlands etc for shopping. Reception very busy but efficient. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Room was a small double size so only about 4 inches between 2 single beds. Had to move 1 bed across room next to desk to ensure own space! Comfy beds though. Room quite warm even in December but windows can be opened. Fan would be available if required. Breakfast not as extensive as Premier Inn but adequate.
