Location and cleanliness

The staff were great and very helpful
The lack of pillows, could 2 per person be offered or a note to say you can ask
Comfort at a reasonable price
Everything you could want from a budget hotel, especially the friendly and helpful staff.
The beds are comfortable and although near busy roads the double glazing was efficient at keeping out traffic noise.
Floor repairs on entering the hotel was not the best welcome but staff were friendly.
Hotel and staff are very nice and deal with any issues for you
noise from other guests who were attending santa pod racing. They were banging on our door at night and revving up sports cars in the car park late at night and early morning.
Bed was comfortable
Noise from people coming up the stairs and out of the lift. Only one hand towel for two people. Not enough complimentary coffee.
Very nice room comfy bed and very nice shower staff very helpful And the breakfast is good sausages were pucker.x 9 out 10
The Noise outside when people leaving the McDonald's next door. And beans were cold.
An excellent overnight stay. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff and value for money.

Hotel was great for my trip, breakfast was good, room was good, bed comfortable. Location was perfect for my visit, Macdonalds close by, but food in hotel was good. Close to main route for travelling.
Only bugbear was smell coming from waste in bathroom, too tired on night to do anything, but reported it when booking out.
Location & proximity of amenities
Noisy group of about 20 people on the same floor
good booking in, clean and tidy,
drains smell, bed uncomfortable, and pillows,
Good location, clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly / efficient staff. Good breakfast selection.
Noise from other residents in the car park and the corridors in the early hours. Bar stock was poor - no draft drinks on the Saturday evening.
Clean and wifi worked well. Breakfast was good.
Helpful Staff, Clean comfortable rooms, Good Channel selection on TV. Forgot to take off the Do Not Disturb sign and was left clean towels/milk/tea in a bag.
Resturant Menu was a bit limited if you prefer basic cooking.
Very helpful and friendly staff Comfortable bed Convenient for Santa Pod
Painting work going on in lobby = paint smell :-(
Power shower good. Bed comfortable and a good size. Staff were very accommodating as we'd asked for a ground floor room which they duly provided without question.
The carpets in the room were very old and bit stained. Stagnant smell in the bathroom, smelled liked blocked drains. The ham and cheese toasties we ordered in the evening were of very poor quality, minimum filling and tasted like the toaster needed cleaning. A few improvements needed.
The room cleanliness and comfort was good. we use IBIS hotels elsewhere and find this to be consitent. The breakfast at the Premier Lodge in Billing was excellent in quality, price and service - after a poor experience in the Wellingbourough IBIS. We would use an IBIS again but may not be first choice as it has been in the past. .................................................................................................................................................................................
Having to get night receptionist to use master key card to gain acess to one of two rooms booked. Unable to leave and return to room without getting reception to allow us back in he room - although the nature of the stay did not warrant the need - never the less poor service. Had decided to take breakfast in the morning - however no seats available, was told we could have breakfast in the lounge seats - we declined, and waited for a table - after observing other guests vacating tables, we entered the seating area, had to clear our own table, ask staff to wipe the table clean so as we could sit at the table. then when decided to select breakfast items, found that juice machine was empty, and poor replenishment of food items. Subsequently we decided to leave and get breakfast elsewhere. I believe the breakfast service was not the fault of staff - it was clear to see that they were under staffed for the volume of people at food service. The key card incident I realise can happen, but to be told we can't leave the room, unless we go back to reception would have been unaceptable if we were staying more than one night. As a Fellow Member of the Institute of Hospitality was overall disapointed with the experience - and would probably factor meals elswhere given your poor manning levels to provide an appropriate service level.
Great location friendly atmosphere
Bathroom needs renovating
