The fact that the breakfast cost £7.50. We partook of the breakfast once to see if the £7.50 was warranted. Frankly, we were disappointed the sausages were tasteless and for what we paid, we did not think it was worth the money. The other thing was that we were required to hire the remote control to watch the television at £9.99 per night. Most hotels let you have this facility for free.

I found the hotel an oasis of calm after the hustle of the journey from St. Pancras. The reception staff were efficient and welcoming. My room was clean and well equipped. All the staff seemed happy with each other, which to my mind show a well run business. Lastly the bar had a pleasant buzz, cheerful staff and reasonable prices. Which for a Yorkshireman is all I could ask

My company office I work at in London once a month has recently moved to Canary Wharf. I wanted a reasonably priced hotel which was with 20 minutes commute. Ibis excel-docklands fitted the bill. I will be back next time I'm in London to work at the Canary Wharf office.

Excellent budget hotel. Good prompt service on arrival, clean but simple rooms and the food in the restaurant for the evening meal was tasty and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend if you need a budget hotel in London.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was working well, the room was clean. Breakfeast was not good for the price they asked. Basically it is a soul-less but efficient place to stay for a short while only. A McDonalds kind of hotel, but this is what IBIS is. Expensive, but this is more a function of the general price level in the city of London.

glad that i was only there for one night the room was very small, and the bed was very uncomfortable. very few channels on the tv. the milk was pasturised! horrible. the price was reasonable though for the short amount of time that we were actually in the room. breakfast was fairly good. mushrooms and fried eggs would have been nice.

Excellent customer service at reception desk esp as rooms were not booked as requested - quickly sorted. Quiet hotel - excellent view. Beds and pillows were so hard it hurt! Breakfast was not very good. No staff to help at breakfast.

The location is excellent when travelling to the o2, the room I stayed in was very clean. The only critisism is with the front check in staff who blatantly pointed and sniggered at me and my brother upon arrival which made for a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming start to our stay.

Great friendly professional staff on reception- nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was good value and basic essentials there I.e lasagne! Great comfortable rooms and even though a large number of residents, we didn't hear anyone! Lovely view over the docklands. We would recommend it to anyone. It was too far to walk to th o2 stadium!

The location is at station Victoria Royal DLR (Dockland Light Railway) /like in Budapest the "HÉV"/, connecting to Tower Gateway / Hill tube station. The staff was helpfull, solved all problem (we needed three bedroom, but the hotel was fully booked, and we got a two bedroom at arriving, they had changed it), need quickly. Clean, small,but for your money is the best choose. Thanks for the help, we 've felt ourself great.
