No towels, bad smell in the room, dirty linens.
Comfort and ambience
Need to keep bigger banner to identify the hotel.
kitchen wifi location
Very friendly staff, very clean accommodation, excellent location, and above all, good value for money
My room was a bit cold
Great location, comfiest bed ever
Friendly staff, cleanliness, location, included tea and coffee.
Would be good to have info on website as to whether you need to bring your own sleeping bag (you don't) or towel (you do).
Lack of any facilities in room, the size of the room and small TV. Having to go out the front into a busy road for a cigerette and the lack of privacy in the building. And no blinds on the windows so anyone can look in
I likde the fact that was really clean, and the staff friendly and they gave me loads of advice on what to do/see. bed super comfy, highly recommend this place
it wasn't necessary a problem, but my bed was right next to the radiator, and all the heat was in my face, a bit annoying, but managed to fall asleep anyway. Nothing else to add, really loved the place
After 9 days sleeping in a tent, this hostel was a great relief! With it's 'quirky' and 'hippy' design, I was instantly drawn in. Even better, I couldn't believe the value for money. We both had a great nights sleep on the memory foam mattress and thick duvet! I think hostels across the world could learn a lot from IGLOO!!
Our only problem was that existing tenants (long term, I presume) made us feel quite uneasy when we went to go look at the kitchen. So uneasy in fact, we went out to the local pub to eat. However, this was not at the staff's fault, who were accommodating and friendly! However, I would have thought existing tenants would have been a little more friendly as we were all there for the same reason- a good night's sleep!!
everything...staff lovely and friendly and very helpful....beds and rooms very clean and comfy....met some amazing people and the facilities are great. can be a bit hard to find on your first time in the city but i would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great night sleep and an amazing atmosphere :)
Very comfortable and fun! Reinforced Double "Mayak". As the artist loved design hostel. And as a traveler - a great location, kitchen with King Arthur's Round Table;), the presence of Wi-Fi and exclusion of noise from the street. Staff oboyatelny, friendly) To England from Russia - good luck!
Pillow is the problem. So thin and small
The decor, friendliness, good wifi, great facilities and price
Room smelt disgustingly strongly of cigarette smoke, uncomfy bed, incredibly basic, cold bathroom, really not worth the price when I could have paid just a fiver more for an actual hotel.
Proximity to town was brilliant, staff are friendly, both private and shared rooms were very clean. Great value, great place.
The staff could not have done more to make the stay any more simple, comfortable and enjoyable. Room was very nicely furnished and decorated.
No social element to the hostel. No communal area, bar or restaurant. No breakfast included.
Igloo Backpackers Hostel was the best hostel I have ever been in (and I have been in many). The room was tidy and the beds were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the free wifi and the TV. The receptionist could not have been nicer and more helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have comfortable good night sleep. Value for money! :)
Cheap and cheerful The decor Location
Decor is awesome artwork Good kitchen facilities Not too busy Good value for a private room
Maybe a bit less of a social hostel - didn't cause issues for me.
Kitchen fully equipped. Bedrooms were a bit tired (beds especially) but nothing that would disturb your sleep. It's located next to the centre. If you go by car, you can park at the side for free from 8pm until 9am next day. The staff is brilliant and so welcoming. Definitely worth booking here if you visit Nottingham
The guys next door were shouting during the night, arguing. We complaint to reception next day in the morning but we stayed for only one night so we don't know if any action was taken.
Memory foam mattress! And some really helpful staff.
I really liked the place, but I was in a temporary facility. Hopefully there new diggs are just as great.
