The hotel underwent a considerable building project in 2005 to 2006 to create a new restaurant and function suite and improvements to all of the public areas this helped to increase its percentage with the AA to 85% making it one of the top 3-star hotels in Devon and the South West.

The hotel is well suited to smaller meetings and team building sessions. Its peaceful surroundings aid concentration and allow delegates to relax and focus on the job in hand.

There are 2 large meeting rooms that will accommodate up to 100 delegates comfortably and several smaller meeting rooms for between 2 and 25 delegates, plus several break-out rooms for smaller group sessions.

The hotel is well situated for exploring all of South Devon, with its beaches and coast, and is within striking distance for a day trip to the Eden Project.
