Imperial Hotel  

Beautiful Victorian seafront hotel. Elegant, roomy, traditional. Retains much of its character. There is terrace at the front which is able to be opened up when the weather is good, but is also pleasant when not. Breakfast was great, staff were freindly. Cosy bar for a nightcap.

A few rattles and squeaks, as could be expected in a property such as this.

Convenient for all amenities. Recently refurbishment proved successful. Terrace will be attractive when weather improves.

Lift is restrictive.

The hotel was welcoming with friendly and experienced staff, who were always eager to help. The rooms were of a high standard, the bed was so comfy l wish I could have taken it home. The food was lovely always fresh and hot. The views from the terrace were beautiful morning and night. A very relaxing stay and I will definately be going back.

Good in all ways

An excellent and very comfortable hotel and a really good breakfast was provided. The Staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to please and the hotel restaurant and the service provided was of a high standard. Very difficult to find fault with this hotel.

just the full english breakfast let it down had no beans or sauce with our room service and the bacon quite thick more like gammon i like mine crispy! but thats my taste might be different for other people

Location was excellent. Breakfast served was good, staff polite and helpful. Nice decor.

Rooms bit small for four star hotel. Unless you are rocket scientist you can't make shower to work with right temperature.

Room generally well appointed (but see below), and the food was excellent. Staff polite and helpful.

The bedroom was excessively hot (I'm not really sure why) and with the window open there was more traffic noise from the road than I'd expected. However a fan was provided and this helped a lot.

Good service , food and friendliness of staff

Smoking area immediately outside entrance to hotel. It means all customers have to walk through a smoky area to access reception. Additionally the wall sized ashtray is always on view. Why not resite to edge of car park ?
