Very beautiful hotel with fast wi-fi included. Breakfast tasty and fine. Confortable beds.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good value. Great location
Friendly owners / staff. Very relaxed and informal but clearly trying hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Had an hour to kill so went for a walk on the Hoe - owner suggested to our young daughter that she might like to walk her dog - which she was delighted to do and added a really fun element to the stay. Cleanliness of all the important bits is very high. Breakfast was plentiful and flexible. Room was comfortable and the main bedroom was (by UK standards) very spacious.
Not much at all - if really pushed: whilst nicely decorated, the odd very distant corner here and there could do with a paint touch up, and the odd thing needed fixing - e.g. the door handle of our smaller room was coming off. The food was good - but while very nicely cooked, prepared and presented, ingredients could be just a tiny touch fresher or more up market (e.g. toast was just standard long life sliced bread, which is normal but some fresh sliced granary or rolls would elevate it to the next level. e.g. fruit salad was a welcome touch but blueberries were just a little over ripe - you can see I am being really fussy here) - but please bear in mind this is a B&B not a super luxury 5 star hotel - and as such, this is a comfortable, well located and super friendly and relaxed B&B. If that's what you want, I couldn't recommend it more highly.
Really lovely boutique hotel and very friendly and helpful staff
Everything indeed !
Very friendly staffs, perfect location. Fresh cooked good breakfast.
Location was very good. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. lovely breakfast
There was nothing I didnt like
Staff, (very courteous, professional), hotel, location (ideal for the city centrre or the Hoe) and general ambience. Breakfast was exceptional.
I'm sure there are those who'll make it there life's work to find fault but not this callsign! There is nothing not to like.
Staff were excellent and very friendly, quality and quantity of breakfast, rooms clean and comfy, and a special wee mention to Charlie.
The fact that we were only staying one night.
Staff & the dogs
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast.
friendly, excellent service
The staff, the room, the bed and the wifi were all excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the breakfast was wonderful. Left the following morning fully recharged and able to take the day full on!
Good clean hotel with friendly staff
We stayed one night only and it was absolutely wonderful , lovely place , beautiful people... Thank you very much again.
Helpful friendly staff
Comfort of the bed and room quality for cost.
I have no negative points to raise
and general services in the hotel were good.
Although wi-fi was advertised it just didn;t pick up and no connection was available in the room. Shower was small but adequate and cleaning staff had used a stale cloth (smell). Kettle too large to fit under the tap.!
Good value for money, close to Plymouth centre but not too close, Connor was delightful and a credit to the hotel
Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Room was as expected for £90 per night
King room was on top floor
Price for small basement twin room
Our second stay. Excellent location
Friendly helpful staff , at this family run hotel. Good sized room tastefully furnished with some homely touches. They did have a problem with one of the boilers meaning that we only had lukewarm water in the morning , but they were very apologetic and compensated for this. We would happily stay again.
