Staff, (very courteous, professional), hotel, location (ideal for the city centrre or the Hoe) and general ambience. Breakfast was exceptional.
I'm sure there are those who'll make it there life's work to find fault but not this callsign! There is nothing not to like.
Staff were excellent and very friendly, quality and quantity of breakfast, rooms clean and comfy, and a special wee mention to Charlie.
The fact that we were only staying one night.
Staff & the dogs
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast.
friendly, excellent service
The staff, the room, the bed and the wifi were all excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the breakfast was wonderful. Left the following morning fully recharged and able to take the day full on!
Good clean hotel with friendly staff
We stayed one night only and it was absolutely wonderful , lovely place , beautiful people... Thank you very much again.
Helpful friendly staff
Comfort of the bed and room quality for cost.
I have no negative points to raise
and general services in the hotel were good.
Although wi-fi was advertised it just didn;t pick up and no connection was available in the room. Shower was small but adequate and cleaning staff had used a stale cloth (smell). Kettle too large to fit under the tap.!
Good value for money, close to Plymouth centre but not too close, Connor was delightful and a credit to the hotel
Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Room was as expected for £90 per night
King room was on top floor
Price for small basement twin room
Our second stay. Excellent location
Friendly helpful staff , at this family run hotel. Good sized room tastefully furnished with some homely touches. They did have a problem with one of the boilers meaning that we only had lukewarm water in the morning , but they were very apologetic and compensated for this. We would happily stay again.
The decor is warm and welcoming. Breakfast choice and quality is superb. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the Barbican only a 5 minute walk away
A very minor point, the TV reception was poor for freeview on the primary channels (BBC/ITV)
The receptionist/owner guided me in on the phone after my satnav failed. I had no idea where I was going and it was getting dark. She was totally amazing and I can't thank her enough for this act of kindness which goes well beyond what you would normally expect.
2 single beds which were a bit narrow and I wasn't used to it but that was my fault for not checking beforehand.
Helpful staff Comfortable room Great breakfast Value for money Parking
Large room, it was a superior double. Good breakfast with excellent choice. Proximity to the Hoe and town
Pillows were a bit too firm
Clean and tidy hotel with excellent staff. Plenty of original features in this Victorian house and a good location.
Great staff, location, parking included, which is important in that part of the city. Room quite small, but neat and newly refurbished. Good breakfast.
The bed was of a smaller size, too soft
it was a small but luvly clean room, nice and warm, also the sweet little extras like biscuits and drinking chocolate, the shower was nice and hot, and felt very welcome there
nothing to not like
Friendly staff Very fair value 5 minute walk to Barbican Great breakfast (decent sized glasses) Comfy bed Ideal if you are on a work trip
Tv a bit old fashioned but i'm clutching at straws
