Staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent location, good breakfast.

The staff were helpful and the breakfast was top class! Room was nice and clean, if a little small.

Bar was a little dated, and the drinks expensive. The lift to the 4th floor was out of order during our stay - and we were on that floor!!

The Restaurant was very good the food was excellent.

The sound insulation between the rooms was very poor.

First impression superb a magnificent architectural statement, exuding the service from a by gone era; communal areas superb. Bedroom comfy. Staff superb even from time we entered a fully packed car park the bell boy offered advice and help.Every member of staff was helpful and smiling. Communal seating areas and entrance was lovely. The dining room nice overlooking the sea. having several bar or sitting areas offers choice too. We were suprised at the warnth of the whole place too often in these big old places the heating is not so good but even in November it may have been just too warm at times -but a refreshing change.

Our room was booked four months prior to stay but we had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking unsightly roof top and above a disco two floors below. The noise kept us awake until its end at 01.15 the following day. When a disco started up the following night we requested a quiet room and this was willingly provided the member of staff (Simon) going out of his way to help us. The room was clean and although the sanitry ware in the bathroom were clean the trim in all areas was thick with dust that must have accumulated over a long period of time. These historic hotel we know have heavy overheads are lovely to stay in but the management need to identify their market - mixing discos with couples wanting a nice stay away doesnt work.

I have stayed in many hotels in Blackpool however I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. The location is excellent, the hotel is nicely decorated and there was a nice bar and comfortable lounge areas. The spa gym and swimming facilties were also good. The restaurant also serviced a lovely breakfast. Only stayed one night but excellent value for money.

The bedroom I stayed in was near a fire door and I could hear it closing each time some one passed down the corridor during the night.

The location of this hotel was just right. Close to walk into town but also away from the stag/hen party's

On our arrival the car park was full, so we went to ask what the parking arrangements were at reception. I was told rudely to double park my vehicle and leave the keys at reception, they would've relised if they had looked outside to double park would have block off all emergency access to the hotel. I tried to book a evening meal in the restaurant for 9pm but was told the restaurant closed at 9pm, but this is not what was quoted in the information pack in the room. Very disappointing for the cost of the room.
