“Above all else I thought the food was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and an all round happy atmosphere at the hotel. The staff to a man and woman were delightful with my four year old and I look forward to re-visiting with my partner and baby.....Long may you reign, Imperial!!”

Excellent position, even in the gales, sitting in the veranda enjoying afternoon tea and watching the world being blown past was a relaxing experience. Staff very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast very high quality. Bar tariff very reasonable.Public rooms and bedrooms decorated to high standard. Highly recommended. Parking is limited, but this is something the hotel is powerless to improve. We had disability badge, so on street parking was no problem.

We had a lovey stay at this hotel. Staff friendly and rooms exceptionally clean. Breakfast a bit sparse for my husband but fine for those with less of an appetite. Bar prices quite high but not extortionate. Windows needed a glood clean! Ideal location for those travelling by train. Couldn't fault it.

very clean hotel, bathroom was amazing with the old style bath and big shower. only downside was that we were away with friends for their wedding anniversary and had brought them a bottle of champayne as a suprise and when we asked the hotel if it was ok to open it they said we would have to pay £5 corkage which was ok until this went up to 10 then 15 when someone else from behind the bar checked so we said thanks but no thanks. was like they were trying to pull a fast one with the changing price. we popped it ourselves on the seafront, much more memorable see above regarding corkage

Stayed at the Imperial to catch up with family locally and treat ourselves to a break. Hotel picked from internet and family said it had a good reputation locally. Room was bigger than expected and nicely lit and furnished. Restaurant eexcellent both for ambience and food. Public areas very pleasant. Entertainment in evenings very good. Staff excellent.

Good location on the sea front. Breakfast was ok, especially if you sit in the front overlooking the sea. We were really disappointed with our room. We paid £130 per night and were allocated a small room at the back of the hotel overlooking the car park. Not value for money. We changed rooms but were asked to pay an upgrade of £20 per night (which the hotel didn't charge in the end). The leisure facilities are very dated, and guests are not allowed to use the changing rooms. You have to go down in your robes (unfortunately there was only one in our room, so had to ask for another one). The car park is very small, but there is parking on the main road (free at night but have to move before 10am). All in all, it's a Victorian seaside hotel - very dated, but with fairly reasonable staff. Not very good value for money and if we were ever to go back, I would choose one of the boutique B&B's as you get much more value for your money.

Free car parking available at back and 90 minutes outside on parking bays. See the sea from most windows. (Side and front elevation). Help yourself on cold buffet, (ie cereals, yoghurts, fruit, juices) to start of breakfast, served hot breakfast with fish option available. Swimming pool was warmly heated and clean with jacuzzi. Steam room ok. Rooms are large in bedroom and bathroom and most of the hotel, which is lovely. Outlook to sea good and quite a quiet street on side road where entrance to hotel is. Overall enjoyed our stay. Mint condition - leisure facilities would of been better if changing facilities for guests larger as only one chair in walk way opposite clear glassed shower, and no storage for any personal belongings, only a few hooks for leaving dressing gowns. If more guests using it a pile up of clothes on the chair. Changing rooms for men and women seperate for members. Didn't quite work the system here. Sauna fits 2 people comfortably 4 at a push. Restaurant was overpriced and had a lot of seafood added to the choices. Rooms are large, which is lovely, but when cold weather - windy, bathroom was extremely cold. Toilet paper moved constantly about an inch, we had to put towels at the window to try and stop the draft. Even in the corridor outside our room entrance, you could fill the cold draft.

From the moment my sister and I pulled the cases from the boot of the car everyone at the hotel couldn't have done more for us. From having our luggage taken up to the room, the helpful reception team allowing us to arrange a meal earlier than normal to give us enough time to get to see The Osmond concert at venue Cymru. The waiting on staff at both the evening meal and again in the morning at breakfast, remembering us and asking if we had enjoyed the show. The room was airy with enough space and filled with all the facilities we needed (and more we didn't). The whole stay, which was only one night was faultless, we felt like royalty it and made the whole 24 hrs we stayed in Llandudno memorable. We hope to return in the near future. Thank you.

I stayed in this hotel for family holidays over 50 years ago and to come back again didn't disappoint. The rooms have all undergone refurbishment and ours was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a good meal and service in the restaurant and particularly liked being able to sit on the verandah overlooking the bay. The afternoon teas looked good but we had to resist for diet reasons! The breakfast was included in the price and cooked freshly to order. I was impressed by the gym even though I was too tired to try it out having walked all the way round the magnificent Great Orme. Car parking is available at the back though spaces are limited. Will definitely return. Coudn't find any faults.

Nice room despite its age. Meals were good though somewhat overpriced - maybe those prices are standard for the area. Staff friendly and attentive. The dining room has an interesting system - any waiter or waitress will attend to any table, unlike other restaurants where tables are attended by a single person. This makes it difficult to tip though, so hopefully the high prices are reflected in the staff wages. I use a mobility scooter, and access to the hotel and within it was good, there is a ramp up from the pavement to Reception. On the one occasion when we found an empty space in the small car park, we realised that if we drove into it there would not be enough room to open the doors and get out, so we gave up up and drove round to the Promenade. Perhaps the space would have been big enough for a compact car. Parking was always possible on the promenade, but sometimes quite a long way from the hotel. Payment is necessary there between 10am and 4pm , but a Blue Badge nullifies the need for payment.
