Perhaps a kettle in the room. Also sign posting to find the place was a bit lacking.

Good, fair prices. Room had everything I needed and was in a good location. Showers only adequate and poor lighting in bathroom - both dim and keeps going off when in shower. Wouldn't stop me from returning though.

Stayed in Family room - needed to be organised as quite small. However, en suite shower room and great kitchen facilities included in price so good value for a family trip.

The facility to self cater with the comfort of a room with en suite facilities. Internet was random. No access in rooms even though it was advertised.

The onsite Pub/Restaurant was very pleasant with very good beer and food at a very reasonable price. We used it for an overnight stop and found the self catering facilities to be excellent.

The menu in the adjoining bar was not as varied as it could have been, not sure it it was aimed at the guests or the locals.

Provision of communal kitchen - very useful if you're on a budget. It was clean and tidy and had all we needed. The bedrooms are small, but well-planned and perfectly adequate; the rooms are probably cheaper than a youth hostel, and much more comfortable. The bathroom light is on a motion sensor - but with a limited range. If you're out of range (E.G., in shower) the light goes out! Not the most sensible idea, although I'm sure it saves energy.

The place was just what I expected. Very small but I paid a very low price. More ideal for backpacker and hikers though stayed there with 4 people. Staff was nice meal was adequate. I had a lot of problems with the internet but otherwise. No chair in room because there would have been no room for one.

“The room was quite spacious and lovely with a fantastic view of Loch Linnhe. The staff were incredibly professional, knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I don't think I've been as impressed with guest service before--and I worked in the hotel industry in the U.S. for more than 10 years. I highly recommend the Creag Mhor Lodge” Melissa, Portland, Oregon |
