Ingledene Guest House  

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Außer wunderbarem English Breakfast gab es auch viel Auswahl für kontinentales Frühstück. Es gab genügend Handtücher und Tee- und Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeiten im Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. die Lage ist gut - nicht weit von Strand und Stadtzentrum.

Das Badezimmer ist sehr, sehr klein. Das Zimmer bietet kaum Abstellmöglichkeiten.

The friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, fantastic breakfast.Quiet and close to bus and railyway station. Value for money. I would certainly recommend it and would stay again.

Ideal for the beach, friendly staff and good breakfast.

The family room we were in was on the second floor and is not ideal for those with younger children.

The shower was not working properly, The beds are small and hard.

Very tired appearance

Ingledene is located in a quiet road, which offered ample on-street parking. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were travelling with our two teenage boys and the (4 bed) room, although 'compact' offered good value accommodation. The beds were firm and comfortable, the shower delivered hot water, and as noted in other reviews, the breakfast was excellent.

The registration form was not the best designed and some of the questions did not appear relevant. There was also an odd smell (cooking related?) in the hallway, which did not give a positive impression when first entering the guest house. However, this was not a significant problem. Overall, we would recommend Ingledene, but do note that room 10 is compact, and the bathroom is a tight squeeze (and only offers a shower).

Good homecooked breakfast. Liked the fact that it was halfway between Bournemouth and Boscombe and we are able to park the car nearby for free. Good value for money.

The staff were amazing,and made our stay extremely pleasant.They went out of their way to cater to our needs.Thank you so much.

The only good point about our stay was the hospitality of the manager and the fact that we only paid £75 for two adults and two children with breakfast. That's less than £20 a head so I suppose I should have expected a very basic stay!

Our first impression was that the guest house was shabby and in need of complete renovation. Things didn't improve when we were greeted by a young foreign person (who struggled with English), instead of the manager. Our room was less than basic with tears in the wall paper and a broken bunk bed. The toilet seat was broken, the pillows were cheap hollow fibre which had been flattened solid with age (although I have to say that the manager replaced them as soon as I complained), and the furniture was the cheapest of cheap. The tv didn't work properly, the breakfast was on a par with Jo's Cafe, and the shower just dribbled out. The only attempts to add a bit of luxury to our room was the addition of a tatty valence above the window which was hanging off in several places. Still the sun shone, the beach was only a short walk away and even taking into consideration our disappointing guest house, we had a lovely time all in all.

We had a family room which was basic but comfortable. Staff were friendly and there was a good choice for breakfast. Within easy walking distance of Bournemouth Pier and beaches. Overall very good value for money.
