Ingledene Guest House  

Good value for money, we were a hen party who only used the facility to sleep and eat breakfast, owner allowed us to order takeaway and use living area to eat and drink. Breakfast was scrummy, was allowed as much as you like! Staff friendly and location handy to town approx £5 for taxi

My room had 4 beds which was rather cramped and cold at night, our other room had a dodgy shower but was fixed as soon as reported! Corridors quite noisy at night, my bathroom was also very small, toilet and wash basin very very close together.

The family room we were in was on the second floor and is not ideal for those with younger children.

Only one critcism - my 18 year old daughter asked for bacon and baked beans at breakfast and was served one tiny piece of bacon and a spoonful of baked beans on a tea plate!! resented need for ID and £5 deposit for key!

Ingledene is located in a quiet road, which offered ample on-street parking. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were travelling with our two teenage boys and the (4 bed) room, although 'compact' offered good value accommodation. The beds were firm and comfortable, the shower delivered hot water, and as noted in other reviews, the breakfast was excellent.

The registration form was not the best designed and some of the questions did not appear relevant. There was also an odd smell (cooking related?) in the hallway, which did not give a positive impression when first entering the guest house. However, this was not a significant problem. Overall, we would recommend Ingledene, but do note that room 10 is compact, and the bathroom is a tight squeeze (and only offers a shower).

Hotel staff were very pleasant, the rooms were cleaned well, despite being a little tired and the bathroom, large and very clean.

The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming. Our triple room for 3 adults was clean and comfortable with en suite. Breakfast was great with full English and a selection of pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc as well.

El personal del hotel es amable, simpático y dispuesto. El desayuno está bien, variado y no hay problema con la cantidad, incluso el horario del desayuno es español (de 8 a 10). Las habitaciones son antiguas pero están cuidadas aunque son pequeñas, al igual que el baño.

El hotel es una casa estilo inglesa y por lo tanto tiene varias alturas y no tiene ascensor. Recomendable ir con poco equipaje y sin carros de niños, etc.. El cafe del desayuno es estilo anglosajón (agua tintada)

La calidad precio es excelente, las habitaciones tal cual aparecen en internet, muy acogedoras.En el desayuno tienen mucha variedad, tanto continental como ingles, se lo recomiendo a al gente que quiera pasar unos dias en un lugar tranquilo y a solo 10 min de la playa.
