Comfortable, with the option to be much better. Obviously they are still quite new to the business. After a very dodgy first day there (we were not expected & nobody welcomed us) we had a good second day and evening. The tea tray was almost at ground level, it needs to be on a table so that tea making is comfortable and safe, i''m too old to get on the floor to make a drink! There were no towel rails in the shower room, so 4 wet towels were hanging over doors. It would be nice if they provided soap in the wash hand basin. |

This magnificent Georgian building has a beautiful, peaceful location, above an 18-hole championship golf course. The hotel also offers superb leisure facilities, including an 18-metre indoor pool. |
The Pines Hotel was built in 1895 and was originally a private gentleman's residence of Victorian design. |
